Gin House Buent.—We omitlod ti

the gin house of Dr. b W Strother.of Mitchell
county, was entirely consumed by fire. The
loss is estimated at about one thousand dol
lars.
In the same neighborhood, a gin belong
inf to Maj Bacon, took fire ou last Monday,

Glynn.—Mershon (Dem.) received 352
votes; Jim Blue (Rad.) received 844.

Mubccoee.— Muscogee gives a Democratic
majority of about 1 700.

From Quitman.—We ate rejoiced to learn
that James H. Hunter, who was stabbed by
negro, w’thout provocation, on the day of
election, was in proving this morning and
hopes were entertained of hit recovery

is a Democratic victory.
A prominent colored leader of Calhouo
county, informed us yesterday, that Colloy
id Pierce, and their white allies, were cer
tainly expected, to vote for Whiteley,
consideration for the negro vote for them
selves, for the Senate and House.
Personal.—Mr. T J. Perry earns up from
Arlington this morning. He does not know
whether be is elected to the .Senate or not
The Damascus District, in Early, gave him
166 majority, but tbe vote of the county is
doubtful. A majority of 126 in the county
will elect him

elected in Clayton county. There wore two
Democratic candidates.
PuLroN— Fulton goes Democratic by
about 1,500 majority. Howell elected Sena

Warren.—Warren gives about 300 Demo

Chatham -Chatham goes Democratic by
1,500 majority.
Cobb —Anderson and Lindloy are elected
from Cobb.
Henry.—This county goes Democratic
unanimously.
Green.—It is thought that the 1,100 ne
gro majority in Green county has been over
come.
Monroe.—The Democratic majority in
Monroe county is 600, *od three precinola
to hear from will swell it to 700 or 800-
Wilkes—No Radical Ticket at all. Col-

We received by the Northern mail to-day
returns from about 20 additional counties.
Three of those elect Independent candidal< •
—the ballancc all Democratic; no .Rada.
This finishes the tale- As far as heard only
three counties in the whole State have gone
Radical.
Thomas County Rejoices with Exceeding
