Marrlago ,«f Mr. David Neuman io Miss
Bennie Brovrn.
A large number of our people, both Isras

Hall, on Tucaday evening last, at 4 o’clock,
to 'witness thb marriage t.f Mr. David
Neuman to Mias lleuuie Drown, datighter
of Mr. 11. Drown, of this oily. The mar*
riage was oelebrated with great ceremony
and oolemity, the beautiful and Impressive
Jowish form of eervioe being conducted
by Rev. Mr. Ileeht, of Montgomery,
Alabama. The Hall was beautifully and
tastefully decorated, whiob aiJed much to

like- In keeping with Jewish custom and
ancient usage, a eanopy was prepared typ

ehclter the two about to be made one, and
wae a very bower of beauty.
The minister stood in rear of the canopy,
and at A o'clock the wedding train appear

Miss Rosa Brown, Mr J Levy.
Misa Yettie Laxaron MrRioh’d Robinson
lire P Pulaski, Mr M L Kline.
Mrs J Robinson, Mr Max Robinson.
Mrs M Newman Mr M Barwald.
Mise Eva Brown, Master David Brown.
The bride and groom enleted beneath the
canopy. The ceremony, pronounced in IIoh
brevtand English, was grand. The bride
was oharming. She is possessed of a
tive modesty, which is one of the swuetest
characteristics of woman, and nbe neei
not the adornments to make her a niclun
» ess. Her toilet was ^aquisite ami
from th# wreatb whioh erownsJ her
head to the borders of the enowy robe
which fell lo graoeftil folds.
The partnta of the bride were close be
side then ; but the family of the groom
were in a far distant land, and could only
seod ther blessings on th* winds across the
broad Atlantio.
After the ceremony wae over th* wedding
party repaired to Ibe reeideuce ol* Mr. aud
Mrs. B. Brown, where they enjoyed »n «| s
egaul repast. Many beautiful ami cosily
presents were jireseufcd by the attendant*,
congratulatory telegrams from friends
abroad were read, aud happiness reigued
supreme.
Mr. Neuman is a well known aud highly
