early hour the gales of tlie Faii-j

At 9 o'clock tlie Arlington’ train
came rolling ill with the Fairly Conn-:
ty (inards, and several ears loaded
completely with our neighboring
friends. Immediately thereafter came
the A. A (<• special, with a tremend
ous delegation. These scattered in
difli-reut parts of the eity for a
while, and then repaired lo tlie
(■rounds, where they were all cor
dially mol. The forenoon passed oil
pleasantly—the published programme
yvas tarried otil handsomely, and
everybody- seemed charmed. In tin-
afternoon an additional delegation
came by the Southwestern Hoad;
principal among them, that excellent
military company, the Macon Guards.
and soon thereafter the evening per
formance began.
Taking it altogether, we do not hesi
tate to say, that the first Exhibition
of the Southwest Georgia Industrial
Association will prove a grand suc
cess, unexcelled by any other like ex
hibition ever held in the State. To
day’s programme will prove a feast
of enjoyment, Don't fail to attend.
It is said hy one who has a right lo
know, that 2..KHI people entered the
gates y esterday. Then- will certainly
he a greater number on hand to-day.
