On Tuesday last Mr. Sim Maxwell,
of Lee county, died at his lion.c, after
a painful illness, with hemorrhagic
malarial fever. Mr. Maxwell was

A steam grist andllouring mill will
pay well in Leesburg. Hunt up tlte
capitalists and Mini them down to
take a peep at the out-look. AVater-
power here is uncertain, and falls to
serve the community at low stages of
water. If a good flouring mill was
erected here tt would induce a great
many more of onr farmers to raise
wheat, as it would avoid the necessi
ty and expense of transportation to
distant mills. The advantages are
numerous, and we nre satisfied inter
ests would lie mutual. Probably more
anon on this subject.
