TO regulate the weighing of Fodder, Hay
aud Oats in bundles brought to (he rity of
Augusta in wagons, or caits for sale by weight.
Sac Ist. Be it ordained by the City Council
of Augusta, That all Fodder, Hay and Oats
brought to this city in wagons or carts for sate,
shall be weighed at the scales prepared for that
purpose near the lower market.
Sec 2d, Be it further ordained, That it shall
be the duty pf the clerk of the lowpjr market to
superintend the Weighing afall Fodder, Hay and.
Outs, at alf hout;s of the day, from suit rise till
sun set! And the party spiling such Fodder,
Hay or Oats, shall pay. to the said clerk fifty cts.

cart or dray.
Sec. 3d- Be it further ordatnSd, That every
person who shall violate the .provisions of this
Ordinance, may be fined in a sum not exceeding
Twenty Dollars.
