Respectfully inform the
Ptirters of the Uniied Slates, to
whom they have long been individually
known as established Letter Fuuuders,
ill at they have now formed a copartner
ship in said business, and hope from their
united skill and extensive experience, to
be able to give full satisfaction to all who
m.tv favor them with orders.
The introduction of machinery, in
place of ihe tedious and unhealthy pro
cess of casting type by hand, long a des
ideratum by ihe European and American
Founders, was, by American ingenuity,
and a heavy expenditure of time and mon
ey on the part of our senior partner, first
successfully accomplished; Extensive use
of the machine cast letter, has fully tested
and established its superiority, in everv
particular, over that cast by the hand
process.
The Letter Foundry Business will here
after be carried on by the parties before
named, under ihe firm of ,

Their specimin exhibits a complete se
