30,0 00 DOLLAR PRIZE!
GLAND STATE LOTTERY,
CLASS NO. ONE.
THE undersigned has, in consequence of the
refusal of an agent in Milledgeville to
render an account of the sale of tickets in the
Grand State Lottery, and to pay the amount of
money received on my account therefrom, been
constrained most reluctantly to take the most
energetic steps, both on the ciail and criminal
sides of the Cou rt against such defaulting agent.
This Unexpected conduct on the part of the
agent, to whom so great an interest had been
confided by me, and the delay at Milledgeville
in securing the accountability of that agent to
the law, necessarily forbade the drawing of the
Lottery on the 28th ult. at Savannah, as had
been contemplated, and has caused a postpone
ment for a short time of the Drawing of Class
No- 1, Which will take place, in Savannah, on
Saturday, the 6th inst.
