Whereas, it is injurious to the public thees, and
dangerous to tlie safety t.f the citizens, to permit
horses ai d like animals to run at large through tin
streets, and other parts of H e cry:
Be it therefore ordained by the mayor and al
dermen of the city of Savannah, in council are-eta
iled, ar.d d is hereby ordained by the authority of
the same. That the first at cion of the above reci

large between the 1st day of May and November,
