!y claims against them, which when finally liqui
dated on the decision of the suit now pending,
thev will try to satisfy as soon as possible there-
sfter.
The deeds under which Mr. Christie claims an
exclusive right to all the real and personal esut .
of Carnochan V Mitchel, are considered ns infor
mal, unjust and illegal. Hence they have been
brought and are still before, the Court, and other
. eds have been executed and recorded, convey,
ing the property far the use ot all their creditor?.
Mr. Christie included i without any trust or re
nervation beneficial to O. and M. or their families;
and if this be not agreeable to that gem Ho an, ii

The Trustees under the late deeds are anxious
to sell the Lands in Florida, alluded to in the no

I TI’ON the petition of the President and Vice
I President of the Union Society and the First
and Second Directresses of the Female Asylum
of Savannah, praying the foreclosure of the Equi
ty of Uedemp'ion of all that Bridge situate on
Ogecchee River, on the road leading from Darien
to Savannah, and about fourteen miles from the
city of Savannah, and known by the name of Hills
Bridge, t jgclher with one hundred acres of iund
rigniaily granted and reserved for the use of the
erry across which the aforesaid Bridge has been
reeled, and which said land is bounded north-
ardly by land belonging to Mr. Mongin and Mr-
McAllister, ear.twaruly and southwardly by land be
longing to Mr. McAllister and westwardly by the
river Ogeechee, which said bridge and lands were
mortgaged by Edward Bourquin to the said peti
tioners by deed, bearing date on the 17th day ol
April; 1819, to secure the payment of a certain
riling obligatory cfeven date with the same mort
age, made and entered into by th. snme Edward
pun to and with the said petitioners in the
mm of eight thousand dollars, conditioned
for tbe payment of the sun. of two thousand dol
lars on or before the 17th day ot April in the year
eighteen hundred and twenty, ami the farther
swm of two thousand dollars on or before the 17th
lay of April 1821, with the lawful interest from the
date of the said bond, and that there is now due
on the said bond and mortgage, and unpaid the
sum of two thousand dollars with lawful interest
from the 17th day of April 1819. Whereupon
on motion of Richard W. Habersham, Attorney
for the petitioners, it is ordered that the princi
pal, interest and costs due on the said bond and
mortgage be paid i..to court within twelve months
from this date, or that otherwise the Equity of
Uedemp'ion (unless cause shewn to the contrary)
or the said mortgaged premises he from ihenfce
forth foreclosed and that such further and oilier
proceedings take place, as are pursuant to the act
if the general assembly in such cases made and
provided.

ARRANGEMENT
Notice to Travellers to and from
Savannah.
A UNION of sentiment having taken plsoe be-
fuk tween the proprietor,* of the new line of
Stages, established on the north side, of the Sa-
vannah river, between Savannah and Hamburg,
and Augusta, connected by the Steam Boat Car
olina to Puryshurg—and tne line of Stage* out of
Savannah, on the south side of said river; the
Stsge office of both will, hence forward, be kept
at the City Hotel in Savannah—where the public
arc respectfully Informed that seats, on either
route, are in flitore to be applied for.
To illustrate the benefits of the two establish
ments, as they are to operate to the public at
large, it need only be stated tiiat,
Tne old Georgia line,will arrive & depart oil the
Same days as Tier' , tofore, and will quicken it*
pace so as that passengers will be taken thro’in
two days, between sun and sun, thus aff rung a
pleasant and delightful mode of transportation to
Ladies and persons in delicate health, or to tho*<|
who travel tor pleasure ratherthan on urgent btl-
sincss.
The new line in Carolini is gotten up on quite
a difl’erent principle. Passengers are tikcn from
Bolton’s wharf, a Ijoining the Ex lunge, at 12
o’clock, every day, on board the steam Boat Car
olina, and are landed at Puryabu g , .fining in the
boa’) in front three to four hours, acowuing to
the siate ofthe tide and stiength of the Current—
they are then placed Immediately in a cn nmodi-
ous Post Chaise, and talpen (by rapid drives, in
lie hands of sober, f xperienefed Coachmen, and
able and gentle Horses, the way being .lighted
with a large lamp or lanthern on the top of the
carriage) through to Hamburg and Angus's, so

Returning—A Ctrch will leave Augusta and
arrive at Savannah, at the same hours as those
perilled going up: Dining and supping on the
mad, and breakfasting on board the steam ooat,
wh'njbremains all night at Purys burg, to receive
the passengers at 7 o’clock the next ipoming.
The Stage office in Augusta, fur the Carolina
route is fixed at the Planters Hotel, and at the
Post office, in Hamburg, That of the Georgia
route remains at the Globe Tavern.
By the operation of the Steam boat Carolina,
Passengers will be taken to and from Chsilcston,
inn ing and embarking at Pnrysburg, the con
tractor for carrying the northern mail, pledging
himself, to run daily and constantly, comfortable
lour wheel vehicles between Puryiljurgh and
Gharlcslon, competent to carry six passengers
conveniently. The Stige Office lor die same, ia
now established at the, City Hotel in Savannah, and
a* heretofore, at the Post office in Charleston.
The Darien Stages continue to operate,as here
tofore, between Savunnsh and that place, and the
stage office tor that line continues at the Citv Ho
tel*
