It would be a matter of curioaijy to know
who has stimulated any bookseller to cater
to a depraved taste by baahing over again
this nauseous dish. The nature of the ani
mosity of the writer to Mr. Crawford is at
wrll known as the book, and every mao ol
juat principles, or even of regard to the de
cencica of life, would revolt from a partici
pation in the circulation of thia offspring of

A letter Rom a lady in Paris, Oneida
county, to her friend in Whiting, Vermoot,
state* that white four ladiet were taking tea
together near that place, two of them sick
ened and died at tho table, and the other
two died the next morning. On an exam
ination of the tee kettle, it was found that a
hard worm-had been boiled in it, the poison
of which wee the cause of their death.
