praying the toreclosure of the F.qtti'y of redemp
don of all that lot of land and buildings known by

in the Lily of Savannah and state of Ge< rgia, con
taining sixty feet in front and ninety feet in depth,
mortgaged by Matthew McAllister now deceased,
in his lifetime by deed of mortgage, dated on the
tenth day of Ma.'di in the year eighteen hundred
ami twenty Uiree,,to Matthew Hall McAllister hi*
heirs and assigns to secure to the sai l Matthew
Hall McAllister, the payment of certain promisso
ry notes made by the said Matthew McAllister to
the Slid Matthew Hall McAllister or order, for
the sum of five thousand dollars, which said note
bears ev n dale with the said mortgage and is pay
able at a day now past, and which said mortgage
and note were afterwards duly assigned, and in
dorsed by the said Matthew Hall Mc Allister to
the said petitioners. And the petitioners having
further stated that there is now due and owing
on the suid note and mortgage the principal sum
ol five thousand dollars with interest from the 30th
day of May 1823
On motion of Habersham for the petitioners, it
is ordered that the principal, interests and costs
due upon the said mortgaged premises be paid
into court within twelve months from this date,
or on failure so to do, the Equity of redemption
in the said mortgaged premises shall from thenze
forth be foreclosed ana such further and other
proceedings take place as are in pursuance oftlie
statute in such case made and provided. And it
is ftirther ordained that this will be published in
one of the public Gazettes of this state at least
once a month for twelve months or a copy thereof
served upon the legal representatives of the said
Matthew McAllister, at least six months previous
to the time at which the said money is ordered to
be paid into coyrt.

R ANAWAY about the 1st irist. a mulatto Man
named HARVEY, he is rather taller than
the ordinary height of Negroes,has a large scar on
his face, his countenance very remarkable, repre
senting any tbing else than good humor. I pur
chased him from Mr. Smets, of the firm of Wutt
x Smets: he wore awa- a short Green Japkct and
also carried with him a frock Coat, about lull
worn made of superfine blue cloth. A reward ot

O N the petition of Aaron Cleveland and Susan
C. his wife, who was Susan C Bona, stating
that Jacob Falun, before the intermarriage of the
-petitioners, to wit; on the 22d day of June 1821,
did in conjunction with One Joseph A. Scott, ex.
ecute a joint bond to the a dd Susan C. in the
penal sum of four thousand dollars conditioned
for the payment of two thousand dollars with in
terest from date, on or before the first day of
March then next, and that for the better securing
the payment thereof, the said Jacob did on the
day and year first aforesaid make his certain in
denture of mortgage, whereby he mortgaged to
said Susan G all that lot of ground known and
designated as Garden lot number thirty nine, No
39, and also, that acyoining half part of another
lot known as lot number forty two, No 42, con
taining together eight and a half acres more or
less situuted to the East of the city of Savannah
and bounded to the north west of Lot No 26, to
the South and East by lands belonging to the es
ta'e of Hampton LtUibridge, and the west by
the public road leading to Skidaway island where
on a brick yard is now established and known by
the name of Falirns brick yard—that there is now
on the said bond or mortgage obligatory the sum
of eighteen hundred doilurs with interest from the
23d day of January, 1823, and praying the fore
closure of the equity of redemption of the said
Jacob and hia heirs, executors, administrators and
assigns in & to the slidtnortgaged premises.—On
motion of W. W Gordon, attorney for the peti-
tinners— it is ordered that the principal and in
terest lue on the said fiond or writing obligatory
togetli r with the cost of thi* application be paid
ini o this court within twelve months from this date,
or in cusc of default that the equity of redemp
tion of said Jacob Fahm, his heirs executors ad
ministrators, and assigns be from thenceforth for
ever foreclosed and tnnt such further and other
proceedings be had thereon, as are pursuant to
