choosing Electors of President and Vice Presi*

Kejircsentativei of the State of Oeo<'gia in Bfne
rat JUtemblynet, That it'shall be (he dutv of the
Magistrates who shall preside St the several Elec-
lions to be held in the diftcrent counties of this
S'ate for the choice of members of the Legisla
ture, at the next General Election therein, to
propose to each and et-cry voter at the time of
receiving his vote, whether lie desires that the
choice of said Electors shall be confided to the
people or retained by the Legislature, and to re
•inert such voter to siguify such desire by en.
doming on his ticket, the word People or Legisla
ture, according to the truth of the fact j and on
counting out the ballots, to anne* to the return
of the raid election by them so transmitted to the
Executive Department, a true statement of the
votes so given, to the end that the same may be
laid before the next Legislature by his Excellen
cy the Governor.
-And be it further resolved, That his Excellency
he Governor be, and ho is hereby requested to
cause this resolution to be published without de-

continue the said publication once a month, unti
