ELISHA WOOD, Sec'ry.
IN SENATE, 12th Nov. 1823.
Whereas it is desirable to ascertain the wish
es of the citizens of this state, as to the mode ot
choosing Electors of President and Vice Presi
dent of the United States;
Be it therefore resolved by the Senate and Konst
of Representatives of the State of Georgia in Gene
cine, bus been observed and acknowledged
by all those who have hud o xusion to use them.
I.i all cases of Heartburn, Bile, Nausea and other
diseases of the Stomach, which are so very pre
v d-.nt in warm climmes—they can be used at any
•line wiih much ad-antage. As they form a pies
•nt effervescent draught, they may be said to be
an agreeable beverage free from taste and highly
impregnated with fixed air, and possessing all the
Medicinal qualifies ol the much esteemed Seidliiz
VVuters.
The Season is fast approaching, when these
powders will be in demand, and to get them pure
is very desirable. Many persons have been he-
ceived in their operation, by having purchased
them in Drug Stores, the proprietors of which
paid but little or no regard in selecting the best
kind, consequently their benefical qualities were
uevt r realized. But this difficulty mav now be
obviated,—-i he subscriber has endeavored for the
two or three last seasons to procure them Genuine
uni has been successful.
• These Powders are neatly put up in Tin Boxes,
by which means their Medicinal properties will
remain unimpaired by the influence of time and
climate.
A fresh supply of the above Genuine article
has just been received, which together with r.
very general assortment of Family Medicines will
be kept constantly on hand.

A N approved remedy for Dyspepsia, or Indig

of stomach after eating, often called heart burn,
flatulence or wind on the stomach, bitter taste in
'lie mouth in the morning, foslid breath, drowsi
ness after dinner, debility, lassitude, emaciation,
depression of spirits, &c
Piles being connected with indigestion and cos.
