It being deemed expedient by the Board of Director?, at another Instalment of the Stock of the Bank of the ate of Georgia should be called in, and that the Stock holders should be required to pay a proportion thereof in specie. Notice is hereby given, that, agreeably to a resolution mf the Directors of this date, twenty-three per centum on each share, of the Stock of the Bank, is required to Be paid by the Stockholders, on or before die second Monday in December next; that five dollars, in specie, be paid on each share, as part of the said twenty-three per cent, and the balance hi bills of either of the Banks of Georgia. The Stockholders are further notified, that Cashier’s Certificates of Stock will be issued -,n lieu of die Com missioners’ Certificates, held by the Stockholders, upon •he delivery of the Commissioners’ Certificates, at die time of paying the Instalment, as above required. Western Stockholders are informed, that they may pay said Instalment, and receive their Stock Certificates, on delivering the Commissioners’ Certificates, at either of the Offices established at Augusta and Milledgeviile, so sopn as they shall be in operation, which wiill be m a slfwt time. Whereas, it is represented, that it will be more con venient to many of the Stockholders, that the time pre- dftbed for the payment of the Instalment of twenty- three per cent, which includes the five per cent of specie, directed by the board, on the 20th September, 1816, should be extended. Resolved unanimously, That the time be, and the same is hereby extended to the second Monday in January next, that the Cashier give notice, that the said Instalment is required tc be paid on or before the said second Mon- in January next. Notice is hereby given to ail persons interested in the trust funds of the late Bank of the United States, as the proprietors of bank-notes, or of dividends upon stock, either of capital or interest, and in general to all the creditors of the said bank or trust of whatsoever des cription, that unless their claims are presented for set tlement before the 4th day of March, 1817, when the term of six years from the creation of the said trust will five expired, the trustees will not feel themselves ob liged to make opposition to any decree or order of eburt, -which may be obtained for the distribution among the stockholders of the amount hitherto reserved to sa tisfy the said creditors.
