under the superintendance of instructors who wiu come
indisputably recommended for abilities and morality.—

Ten Dollars’ reward.
Ranawsy, from the subscriber, sometime in May last,
a certain negro fellow, by the name of Lxwni, twenty-six
years of age, about five feet eight or nine inches high,
well sit, has a noted scar on bis forehead, roe of his
teeth in the upper- pert of hia mouth e out, hsS large
eyes and a very hollow foot for a negro to have. Any
person that will apprehend said negro and lodge him in
Chatham county goal, or deliver bun to the subscriber,
in Jefferson county, shall receive the above reward.

vannah and Augusta; Nancy has a husband residing in Sa
vannah, by the name of July, the property of Mr William
Mein. All masters of vessels, and others, are cautioned
from harboring or employing the above wench Nanqs.
The above reward and all reasonable charges will be
paid on her being lodged in gaol.

Twenty. Dollars’ reward.
Ranaway from the subscriber’s plantation, on the Etr-
haw, Beaufort district, state of South Carolina, bis negro
man named Hanar; he is about 25 or 28 years of age,
5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, stout made, very black, andof
a grim countenance. It is supposed be will make for
Sa vannah, and from thence to the northward, and endea
vor to pass himself for a free man, as be made the same
attempt last summer in Charleston. All masters of ves
sels i ire therefore hereby cautioned from harboring or
carrying said negro out of the state, as the law in such
case « ill he rigorously enforced. The above reward will
be paic. 1 any person who wili deliver said negro at the
above p lantation, or the gaol in Savannah.

Fifty Dollars’ reward.
A negro man named Bob was enticed away from Fer-
nandina, on Saturday, the 9th instant, by two white men-
he is about five feet five or six inches high, black com
plexion; round face, pleasant countenance, well m.,l»
fore teeth very large, about twenty-five yean of age, a
carpenter and caulker, also a good barber and waitingman.
Fifty dollars reward win be paid by me for the fellow; if
brought here or delivered to John Oailsy, esq. sheriff of
Camden county, at Jefferson, Salilla river, and all ex
penses paid, or fifty dollars if. delivered at any gaol ia

Fifty dollars’ reward.
Ranaway, from the subscriber, about the 10th of July
last, a negro man named Biut, a native of Africa, about
5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, appears to be between 28 and
32 years of age; speaks bad English—be has a down look,
and speaks low when in er nversation—has about or
below his waist some marks of the whip. This fellow was
brought to the gaol of Barnwell district sometime in the
month of February, 1816, as a runaway, and was sold out
to pay expence^ on the first Monday of March* last.—■
All I know of this fellow is from bis own statements; lie
says his name is Duly, and that he did belong to a major
Jones, of Savannah, and afterwards said be came from
above Augusta, (Ga.) It is likely this fellow may get
back to his former owner, who would like to eonccalnis
return; he may not have given his owner’s or his own
name, or bis place of residence correctly.
Any information that may lead to a discovery, will be
