At a general meeting of the Stoeiholdera, on Saturday,
the 24th June, 1817, la pursuance of public notice it waa
resolved, that tbecapital stock should be increased; gpd
the board of directors was authorised accordingly to car-
ry the said resolution into effect.
Notice is therefore hereby given, that on Saturday,- the
first of November next, at 10 o’clock, a. st, at the Bank,
will be put up for public sale, to the highest bidders,
2500 shares of new stock of 100 dollars each, in portion^ V
not exceeding ten shares.
The increase; whatever it may be, over 100 dollars jer
share, to be paid down at the tune of sale, the remaining
100 dollars on the 22d November next, which, bring so
paid, will entitle the proprietors of new stock to full di
vidends of profits to be made by the Bank, from and im
mediately after the next dividend, which will be on the
17tb November, 1817. * *
Bills of any of the chartered Bank^ in Georgia and
South Carolina will be taken in payment.
