Rowand's Tonic mixture, or Vegetable Febrifuge, A specific and lasting cure for Fever and Ague. mills worthy remedy earnestly repels the slur JL of being a quack medicine, it having been the result of many years study, experience aud labor, in the medical practice nud observation of Fever nnd Aguo. It is composed of such medi cinal principles as were'coimidercd most fit to re store thehariuouy ofaction between the stomach, liver, nnd the other important functions of the system, the loss of which harmony is evidently the immediate causo of the disease. It snnedilypro- motes n regular and healthy nppetito which is generally entirely destroyed or rendered venr precarious; by which effect, vigor and strength fa soon afforded to the whole system. It must be apparent to all. that a medicine possessing these peculiar virtues, is useful in h great variety of complaints. By renewing tho healthy action of toe digestive organs, it has proved itself of re markable benefit in dyspepsia, depraved appetite, heart-burn, water brush, flatulency, jaundice, night sweats, dysentery, bowel complaints, and all other affections of similar origin, but it is in the treatment of Fevers, nnd especially in Fever aud Aguo, or Remittent Fever, thnt its powers have been principally tested, nnd with those who hare seen its usefulness, it is pronounced sover eign to all remedies heretofore discovered fo those diseases. It has also been used as a pro veutive, by many who were subject to a periodi cal recurrence of toe chilis and fever, and it bos always warded off* the apprehended attack.
