A Certain Cure for Sick Ilcad-
j&CllCt
W HICH has been used in families, every
. member of which Iinb had sick headache
• ii tninfancy,as a constitutional family complaint,
• l.fclias cured effectually in every instance yet
known, amounting to rnauy hundreds. It is not
itnpluasant to the taste, nnd does not prevent the
d uily avocations of one using iu it must be perse
vered in, nud the cure is gradual, but certain and
permanent. Instances are constantly multiply
ing where this distressing complaint fs complete
ly relieved nnd cured, although of years standing,
bv the use of Dr. Spobu’s celebrated remedy.
Olio decided preference is its pleasantness, huv
ing none of tho nauseating effects of common
drags.
• In all dyspeptic symtoms, cosliveuess, irregn-
larity, distress after meals, pains in the side and
torpidity of the liver, the cure is perfect, and any
one so afflicted will become immediately convin
ced on using it, that he lias at last found a “sover
eign balm for his wounds." Females are particu-
lariy recommended to use it for costiveness or ir
regularity, and other femnie complaints. It is
E roved to correct vitiated and disordered humors
eeping the stomach iu most perfect order. Those
S arsons who after an evenings indulgence at par-
«"• drn. have headache uud dullness the next
day, will find this a sure preventive if taken at
bedtime.. For nil common complaints, inn few
days its virtues will be self-evident,and a complete
euro will soon be effected. When a person has
a cold nnd feels unwell, generally a free use of it
fora few days will be sura u relieve without
physic or pills. To children it may be given with
the greatest advantage.
' Inal! acidity or sourness ofstomach this remedy
is sovereign^ond invaluable; as a general family
medicine it is now adopted by many of the most
respectable fannies. It never sickens the stomach

Aspecific nnd lasting cure for Fever and Ague.
rxiHIS worthy remedy earnestly repels the slur
X of being a quack medicine, it having been
the result of many ycura study, experience and
tabor, in the medical practice and observation of
Fever and Ague. It is composed of such medi
cinal principles as were considered most fit to re
store the harmony ofaction between the stonmcli,
liver, and the other important functions of the
system.tlie toss of which harmony is evidently the
immediate cause of the disease. It spoedily’pro-
motes a regular aud healthy appetite which is
generally entirely destroyed or rendered very
precarious; by which effect, vigor nnd strength is
sooft afforded to the whole system. It must be
appnrentto nil. thats medicine possessing these
peculiar virtues, is useful In a great variety of
complaints. By renewing the healthy action of
the digestive organs, it hus proved itself of re
markable benefit in dyspepsia, depraved appetite,
heart-bum, water brush, flatulency, jaundice,
night sweats, dysentery, bowel complninta, end
nil other affections of oiinilar origin, but it is in
the treatment nf Fevers, nnd especially in Fever
aud Ague, or Remittent Fever, that its powers
hove been principally tested, and with those who
have seenjts usefulness, it is pronounced sover
eign to all remedies heretofore discovered fo
those diseases. It hns also been used as a pro
ventive, by many who were subject to n poriodi
cal recurrence of the chills and fever, and it hat
always warded off the apprehended attack. It
was deemed not improper to accompany the
