affections to which the human frame is liable.
Situnted ns it were, on the verge of vitality it is
almost impossible to reach tliem hy inwnrd rente

of medicine, or subjecting ourselves to the un
comfortable system of strict diet: such means by
reducing the system merely palliate the sy mptoms

or more so, when a generous diet is returned to.

X ofbeing a quack medicine, it having been
the result of many years’ study , experience, and
labour, in th« medical practice and observation of
FEVER AND AGUE. It is composed orsuch
medicinal principles as were considered most fit
to restoro the hurtnnny of action between the
Stomach. Liver, aud tlie other important func
tions of the system, tho loss of which harmony is
evidently the immediate cause ofthe disense. It
speedily promotes a regular and healthy appetite
which is generally entirely destroyed or rendered
very precarious; by winch effect, vigour and
strength is soon afforded to the whole system. It
must be apparent to*all, that n medicine possess
ing these peculiar virtues, is useful in a great va
riety ofcomplaints. By renewing tho healthy ac
tion of the digestive organs.it has proved itself
of remarknble benefit in Dyspepsia, Depraved
Appetite, Henrt-hurn, Water Brash, Flatulency,
Jaundice, Night Sweats, Dystentery, Bowel
Complaints, and many other affections of similar
origin. But it is in the treatment of Fevers, and
especially in FEVER AND AGUE, nr Inter
mittent Fever, that its powers have been princi-
rally tested, nnd with those who have seen its use-
illness. it is pronounced sovereign to all remedies
heretofore discovered for those diseases. It hns
ko been used as a preventive, by many who
were subject to a periodical recurrence of tlie
Chills and Fever, and it has always warded off
