ance of their cupidity, those person* effect that
their wretched nostrums have been in use in

whereas, until the illustrious Dr. Mngnin made
liis wonderful discovery, no cure for barrenness
had boen ever thought of, oral least made pub

of the decayed virile powers were found to be of
but little nvail. Thus, all nostrums ndvertised
for barrenness or the enreofitnpotency, but Dr.
Mngnin's ere mere catchpenny humbugs, which
would never have been thought of but for lire ap

siitncient caution for the purchaser to ask for the
Lucinn Cordial, hut as farther assurance,it would
e ns well tn note that its name, Lnciua CorJial,

a Fleur de Lia is printed on the accompanying

The celebrity of the Lunina Cordial being such

T HE Proprietor's opportunities for extensive
practical observation have enabled him jndi-
ctonsly to discriminate such varieties of vegeta
bles as are really worthy of culture, from the infe
rior, nr, *s Is not unfrequent, worthless varieties
ofthe same class, which have been perpetuated
through inexpereuce; therefore, in making this
selection, he bos excluded many sorts usually
found in the Catalogues qffiiosn who are mere
tenders uolpractical grows of seeds.—And he is
not sure that Uie variety might not be still further
reduced with advantage; at any rate this is ample
for any garden, however extensive, and fully
adapted to the incest taste.
An to quality of Uie seeds, the proprietor wishes
it to be remembered, that what is sold by him is
of his own growth, (with bnt slight exception,)

within the Knowledge and reach ofevery individ
ual in the community- Unlike the host of per
nicious quackeries which boast of vegetable in
gredients, tlie Life Pills are purely and solely
vegetable, and contain neither mercury, atitimo-
ny, arsenic, nor any other mineral in any form
whatever. They are entirely composed of«v-
tracts from rare and powerful plnnts, the virtues
of which though long known to several Indian
tribes, nnd recently to some eminent pharmaceu
tical chemists nre altogether unknown to the ig
norant pretenders tn medical science, aud were
never before administered in so happily effica
cious a combination.
THE PHOENIX BITTERS are so called, be-
cause they possess the powpr of restoring the ex
piring embers ofhealtH, to glowingvigorthroiigli-
out tho constitution, ns the Phamix is said tolie
restored to life from the ashes of its own dissolu
tion. The Phamix Rilters are entirely vegetable,
composed of roots found only in certain parts of
the western country, which will infaliblv cure
FEVERS AND AGUES ofnll kinds; will never
fail to eradicate entirely all the effects of mercury
infinitely sooner than the most powerful prepar
ations ofSarsnunrilln. and will nfiniedintely cure
the determination of BLOOD TO THE IiEAD;
never fails in sickness incident to young females:
and will lie found a certain remedy in all cases of
nervous debility nnd weakness ofthe most im
paired coustituiions.
An u remedy for Chronic nud Inflammatory
Rheumatism, tho efficacy ofthe Phamix Bitters
will he demonstrated bv the use ofa sinde bottle.
The usual dose of lh*« Pilfers is Haifa wine
S luss foil, in water or wine, and this quantity may
e taken two or three times a day. about half on
hour before meals, or n less quantity may be ta
ken at all times. To tlioso who are afflicted with
indigestion after meals, these Bitters will prove
invnlnahle, us they very greatly increase the ac
tion ofthe principal viscera, help them to perform
their functions, and enable the stomach to dis
charge into the bowels whatever is offensive.
Thus indigestion is easily and speedily removed,
appetite restored, nud the mouths ofthe absorb

nnd strength of body and energy of mind aro the
happy results.

W E perceive by the papers that the famous
Kreiich physician, Dr. Mngnin, has estab
lished an agency for the sale of the nbovn named
extraordinary medicine in this city: nnd to speak
the truth, wo are sorry for it, as we think that
there are too many people in this part of the
world already. Wo Jure not enter into an expla
nation ofthe wonders effected by this medicine
hero, but will nevertheless venture to add, that it
is tho royalist tiling in tha world for gentlemen and
ladies who are husbands and wives, und who wish
to be/alters and mothers. The agent should take
Ibia medicine to the far west, where people are
source.—N’etc York Examiner.
