rises from kcnnela.aewers, drains, sink*, wnter-clos-
eta. markets, ships, stables, hospitals, wards, prisons,
stalls for beef and fish; and, in general, all places
infected with animal exhalations. It has completely
succeeded in removing the local infection and the
bad amell which arises from mortification.foul ul
cers, or bad aorea of any kind. When mixed with

P OWELL’S Bnl8um of Aniseed, for
Coughs, Colds, Shortness of Breath, Asthma,
Ac.—This invaluable medicine haa the extraordin
ary property ofimmediatcly relieving Coughs, Colds,
Hoarseness, difficulty of Breathing, and hurkiness
in the Throat. It operates by dissolving the con
gested phlegm, consequently causing a free expec
toration. Thoso who aro troubled with that unpleas
ant tickling in the throat, which deprives them of
rest night after night, by the incessant cough which
it provokes, will, by taking ono dtee, find immediate
relief; and one pottle, in most cases, will effect a
cure. In aslhmW chronic coughs, difficulty of
breathing, Ac. -o peu cun describe tho wonders that
have been performed by this invaluable medicine;
many, who for years, ha«e been unable to lay down
in their beds, without a danger of being choked by
an accumulation ofphlegm,(which invariably causes
a dreadful cough); other* who with difficulty could
breathe nt all, in a recumbent posture, have, by tak
ing ono doso of this excellent Balsitn, been enabled
to lay down comfortably in their beds.

J H. EUSTACE’S infallible Gonor

less remedies which nave hitherto been offered to
those who have unfortunately incurred tho above
troublesome disease, is a subject w hich has justly
merited tho consure of tho faculty, nnd produced Jn
many eases, very serious and alarming effects. To
guard against these abuses, J. H. Kustaco has been
induced to prepare a preparation wldeb is attended
with no danger whatever, and is active and efficient
in curing the disease, with little trouble to tho pa-

The proprietor has boon studious in this particu

obviate this necessity. The course to be pursued is
exceedingly simple, nnd will not interfere with the
regular duties or business ; nnd if tho medicino is
used according to tho directions, it will effect a
speedy cure in live day*. As to its decided effica

city, there haa not been a failure in a single case, nnd
there aro many, both of the Faculty and otherwise,
that have already testified with pleasure to its deci-
