D R. SPENCER’S VEGETABLE
TONIC A RESTORATIVE BITTERS.—
Health, "the poor man’s riches, the rich mnn’s
bliss.”—Tho dosign'of Spencer’s Vegetable Pills,
and Vegetable Tonic, nnd Restorative Bitters, Hto
create a flow of pure healthy bilo, instead of tho
stale and acrid kind. This is effected by theii sal
utary action upon tho various sccretnfy organs by
which the bilo is formod—and it will be seen nt
onco, that the bile must be healthy or unhealthy,
acconling to the formation of the blood ; and that
the purity or impurity of the blood, is owing to the
formation of the Chyle, which passes into and forms
tho blood. These Pills and Bitters, by their bene
ficial action upon the stomach, causes that impor
tant orgaq to produco a proper quantity of puro,
healthy chyle, nnd so astonishingly assisting diges
tion, that nearly nine-tenths of all diseases are re
lieved or ontireiy cured by their uso.
The objector the Pills is to stimulate all the
vital organa of the system into action, and thereby

C OLUMBIAN EMBROCATION
A remedy for Seasickness.—It i* ad irtdia-
putable fact that thousands of person#, whom busi

of the violent attacks of Sea-sickness tor

woather, and Irom which few are exempt for man/
days after the commencement of theii Brit paisas#

tnpaired health, in pursuit of wealth, or from other'
causes, were it not from the dread of subjecting
themselvca to an illness which haa often proved fa'

C OL. IIALLOWES* PURE AND
UNADULTERATED ARROW ROOT.—
Seo tho followingitatomentof Dr. Chilton, the dis
tinguished New-York, Chemist:
‘T have examined n Bamplo of Arrow Root, manu
factured by Col. Hallowea, of St. Maiya, Geo., nnd
oxhibited nt the last Fair of tho Amorican Institute
by Mr. Stephen Burklialter of this city. The arti
cle ia of the very finest quality, and from tho ex-
periirfeniamade upon it, I find it to contain as large
a proportion of nutritious matter, and to be in every
other respect fully equal to, tho beat quality of Ar
row Root obtained from Bormuda.
"It being of vital Importance to invalids that auch
delicate articlea of diet be pure, l feol glad of the
opportunity to apeak ao favourably of the Georgia
