The testimony of the most respectable Phy
sicians nnd citizens of South Carolina, Georgia and
of tho City of Savannah, I submit to tho citizens of
the Southern States, they nro gontlemen of tho
highest respectability, and of undoubted veracity.
I tlina come under thoir notico the efficacy of the
Mediciue now made and recommtndtdin Savannah,
for the certain and speedy cure of Fever and Ague.
I admit tho time stated to bn very short, and is to
be doubted, but it is true Twelve Hours ia the time
given to be cured of this dreadful disease, without
feeling the effects of medicine. This remedy is of
n harmless nnd simple nature; T positively warrant
it to contain no mineral preparation whatever, it ia
vegetable matter only, to prove this I have shown
my recipe to ono of the first Physicians o| Savan
nah, whose certificate I will soon give with others
of thi* city, to the citirens of the South. Country
Merchants will do well by having thia for sale, as
Northern Humbugs will soon past away. Planters

it is free from all poisonous drugs, and a speedy

MY EAU LU3TRAL HAIR RESTORATIVE.
Thia universally approved and admired article, free
from ardent apfrita, pungent essential oil, and other
destructive materials, deans the hair expeditiously,-
renders it beautifully bright, and imparts to it the
delicate fragrance of flower*. Hair Washed with
thia Extract soon becomes pleasingly soft and lux
uriant in its growth; and it will positively bring in
now hair on bald heads by its uae, and hair that ha*
been mado harsh, and is turning grey or falling oot,
by the u*e of spirits or other improper preparations,’
will soon be restored to its natural color and bril
liancy by a few applications of Ike Ean Lustra!.
It is a preservative against Baldness, and an in
fallible cure in all affections of the Skin on the
Head, as Dandruff, and for preventing the falling off
of the hair, and turning gtey.
Evidence —Natute ia an Indihatfatlble mine, in
which experience and attfdr always find room to
excavate; it is thnt source alone, which producos
ell that man calls invention, and which he would
dobetter, perhaps, to name adaptations.

J ULES HAUEL’S CELEBRATED
PERSIAN OR CHINESE POWDER—
Which ia unequalled for the nursery, for restoring/
beautifying, preserving the complexion, rendering
the akin delicately whito, smooth and soft, prevent
ing cutaneous etuptiona, chapping, and obviating
too copious perspiration. Travellers and resident*
in warm climates will highly appreciate this grate
ful appendage to the toilet.
Previous to tho discovery of thi* important ap
pendage to the toilet, ladies were compelled to re^
sort to useless, and in some cases dangerous prepar
ation* for whitoning the skin, which failed in thou
sands of cases to produce the desired effect. This
valuable cosmetic, ainue its introduction to the
public, has met with unbounded success; each new'
trial serves only to expound its high reputation.
How much the beauty of a Sylph-like form ia art-'
hanced by a clear and brilliant complexion, is only
known to those who are Buffering from freckle*,
pimples, blotches, tnorphew, and' other disfigure
ments or the akin, occasioned by the uae of pow
der*, decorated with sweet names, auch aa Lily
White, Pearl Powdei, Ac., too often made of *
deleterious substance. To those we would *ay/
make atrial of thia Cosmetic, and your complet
ion will be rendered beaotilblly clear, fair ana
blooming. For sate, wholesale and retail, by. (ft*
