in honor of the daughter of tho President of the
Company, Geo. W. Gabmany, Esq., was launch
ed on Saluidny afternoon. Sho draws nt this

This will enable her to ruu at all seasons of tho
year. The Oregon is designed for our river, and
will lake her place in the line between Savannah
and Augusta and Hamburg, about tlic 1st Octo

ciples and details. He drew up a eubetitute. It
was referred to a Committee, mid that Committee
reported it bock to the House without amendment,
and it was passed the firtt time by the ll’higt.
In 1811 this bill came up before a Democratic
Legislature for its second passage. Tho Demo
crats accepted it in lieu of thtir bill of 1839 nud
