ELMoaa, lloaaz County, Dec. 23,1850.
Mr. J.E. Marshall,—Dear Sir: In compliance with
your request, I make this simple statement of facts. My
boy Daniel stuck a thorn in his foot about the first of last
June, the thorn was extracted, and no more thought ot it
for ISnr 20 days, his foot then began to swell, nnd in a
few days it was opened. It discharged a large quantity
of matter. The dNchaige continued for eight days, and
then ceased. Ill* foot then re commenced swelling and
extended up his leg, thigh nnd blp, witli violent pain.—
He then began to spit from his lungs matter similar to that
discharged from the ahscest on Ills toot. 1 then called
in medical aid, and from tho remedies used, ho was al
ternately better and worse for eight or ten weeks. During
this time a large abscess formed upon the hip, the dls-
charae was large, and as soon as it ceased, a general
swelling ofhislrg. thigh nnd breast commenced, which
was very hard to the touch, and at times he experienced
much difficulty in swallowing. Medical aid seemed of
nofurtlier avail, and was discontinued. I then had re
course to your “Magical Pain Eradicatnr.” In forty-
eight hours, from the time I commenced iu use, bis foot
began to soften; the •welling on hl» hip and hteast sub
sided, and I am plenred to »ny lie is now well.
I again used your remedy in a case of Neuralgia, with
great success, giving immediate relief. I have tried it
also tor Tooth-Ache, with uiy youngest child, with en
tire success.
From the success I have had In Ihe use of your “Mag
ical Pain Eradicatnr.” I have no hesitation In recom
mending it to the public. ... ...
Yours truly, W. W. Hooitas.
Tho above statement* of tho use or “Marshall’s Magi
cal Pain Eradicator” ate known by me to be true.
