persons shall bo qualified to vote at elections for Mayor and
Aldermen of tho city of Savannah nnd the hamlets there
of who are citizens or tho United States, have resided In
the State of Georgia fbr one year Immediately preceding
the oloctlou and within tho corporate limits, of Savnnimh
for ono mouth Immediately preceding tholr registration
and coutiuuo so to do up to tho time of election, who
have attained tho ugo or twenty-one years, have paid nil
city taxes or have In tholr own right sulllclcnt real estate
to satisfy any lax executions which may bo ngalusl thorn,
who havo made all returns required by the ordinances of
the city, and have been registered according to tho pro
