To prohibit tho Balt nt nubile out-cry of Goods. Chattels,
IVaroo, Produce, and Mirckandiu within tie Limits
riftho City of Savannah, except by Licensed Vendue
1 Mooters, by Shcrifs, Coroners, or Constables, in ex*-
- entionof their duty, and by Executors, Administrators,
■ or Guardians. And also to regulate and limit the
right of Vendue Masters to ••U under License.

Aldermen of foe Clly of Savannah and foo Hamit
thereof; In Council assembled, and It is hereby ordained
by foe authority of foe same, That from and after the
p of this Ordinance, U shall not bo lawful for any
lawful procesa, or an Executor, Administrator, «««-
dun, in foe due execution of ms trust, to bold any public
vendue or auction whatsoever, or to expose for sale by
himself at public outcry any Goods, Chattels, Wares,
Produce, or Merrtundlze, within foe limits of foe City or
Savannah. And if after foe passage of this Ordinance,
any person, other than foe persons herein before named,
ahall bold any public auction whatsoever, within the
limits ortho City or Savannah, or expose to solo by him-
■elfat public outcry within foe limits or said city, any
Goods, Chattels, Wares, Merchandize, or Produce what-
r, such person so acting or offending shall be sub*
nd liable to a fine for each and every such act or
» or not exceeding Fifty Dollars, to be Imposed and
end on information before the Mayor of said City.
