In this preparation are strongly conconlrnlod all the
modlctnal properties of Sarsaparilla, combined with Iho
most effectual aids, tho roost salutary productions, the
most potent simples of the vegetable kingdom; and tho
combination Is such that one modifies and Improves the
other, producing a compound differing entirely In Its cha
racter nnd properties from any other preparation, nnd
unrivalled In Its operation on tho system when laboring
under disease. Tho many well authenticated cures of
, or tho most malignant character, havogl von it
nd deserved celebrity. But it Is not alone In
Scrofula, nor In tbo class of diseases to which It belongs,
that this preparation haa boon found beneficial. It Is a
specific In many diseases of (ho skin, and may be admin
istered with favornblo results In nil; and It has boon so
frilly tested, not only by pnllents themselves, hut also by
physicians, that It hus received their unqualified recom
mendations nud the approbation of tho public, and has
established, on Its own mortis, a reputation for value
nnd rmoaoy far superior to tho various compounds
bearing tho namo of Sarsaparilla. Tim following lestl.
‘ are selected from among the multitude of lh<
lally receiving; and, for further confirmation, I .
reader Is referred to tnn Family Rccl|>o and Modlcal Al
manac, furnished gratuitously by all our agents.
Tho fbllowlug was sent to our agents, Messrs. W. A.
Waldron A Co., who are personally acquainted with
tho writer: WATRRronn,N. Y., Nov.SO, 1850.
Messrs. Sards—Gentlemen:—About three months
since, the disease called u Heard, or Barber’s Itch,** ap
peared on my face, and as It Is or rare occurrence—no
caso at yot having como under Iho care of our vlllago
physlcluns—1 round It vory difficult oven to stop the pro
gress of the disease on my taco, although 1 tried reme
dies that hnd cured from tho pimple on a child’s taco to
the gulled breast of u canal horse; nnd oven pulled out
my bennl on Iho side of my ’taco and chin, A short IIme
since, n friend told mo that ho had It Ibr two yonrs, and
tried different remedies without successful finally cured
It In n short time by tho use of Sands’Sarsaparilla. On this
recommendation, I bought ono bottle, nnd finding I re
ceived benefit from it, 1 continued ils use until I am now
perfectly cured. I am led to bring this to your notice
gratuitously, from tho fact that the disease Is not nnmod
in the list or complaints fer which the Sarsaparilla is a
ntedy, nmt that you may bo ublo confidently to rocom-
uud It fur such cases.
Yours, truly, GEO. E. SCOTT.
REMARKABLE CURE OF BRONCHITIS.
Naw-Yoax, Fob. 17, 1840.
Messrs. Bands:—Having suffered many years with a
disease of my throat, affecting the larynx, during which
time 1 was treated hr the most distinguished physlcluns
In Europe und the United States, without receiving any
permanent benefit, but all tbe time my general health
and Btrougth declining, nud tho disease making fearful
progioss. Caustic applications were usod. nnd whatever
else was thought most efficient for produclnga cure; but
1 am confident tho doplorablo situation I was In, the la
ryngitis being accompanied with phtlsls and great diffi
culty In brcnlhlng, would soon have terminated my life,
had 1 not obtained roller through the medium of your In
valuable Snnutparilia. I must say, gentlemen, *
commenced using tho Sorsapurilln, l did not pint
confidence in Us virtues; and this will not surnriso you
when you are iuformod I had tried moro than flhy differ
ent rumedica during tho past four years, without nny suc
cess; hut after taking your Sarsaparilla u few weeks, I was
obliged at lost to yield to evldenco. This marvellous spe.
cifio hits not ouly relieved, but cured mo; tun) I therefore
think It my duty, geutlemou, for tho benefit of suffering
