WETUMPKA HAMMOCK, situated about ton miles
North of Ocala, (the county seat of Marion county,) con
taining 3,000 acres, about one-half of whlcb is hammock, .
unsurpassed by any In the State; and the remainder white
oak and hickory land.
A TRACT, well known as the “ Fort Drane Planta
tion.” containing 3,000 seres or Land, principally first
quality hammock, between four and five hundred acre* t
of which is thoroughly cleared, and at present In culti
vation. This place for several years averaged two hogs- >
heads or Sugar to the acre, and every year that It baa
been cultivated has produced lino crops of com and ‘
cotton.
These Tracts could readily be divided into two or
three plantations each, being well watered and surround- -
ed by high rolling pine land. . <
A TRACT of 1,000 acres on Ordnge Lake, consisting of
hammock, orange grove, and well timbered pine land.
TWO TRACTS, of 1,000 acres each, near the Alachua
prairie. The greater part of both these tracts to rich ?
hammock.

cultivate sugar cano would do well to examine this land *
as being remarkably fori lie, and lying south of the region
