PECTORAL In my practloe has provon what I foresaw
from Its composition must be true, that It eradicates and
cures the. colds and coughs to which we, In this section,
are peculiarly liable.
I think Its equal has not yet been discovered, nor do I

J. J. BURTON, M. D n F. R, 0.
See what It has dohe on a was ted constitution, not only
i tho following cases, but a thousand more:—
SUDBUUY, Jan. S4tb, 1851.
Dr. Aye*—In the month of July last, I was attacked
by a violent diarrhoea In the mines of California. 1 re
turned to San Francisco In hope of receiving benefit
Tom a change of climate and diet. My diarrhoea ceased,
but was followed by a severe cough and much soreness.
1 finally started for home, but received no benefit from
the voyage. My cough continued to grow worse, and
when I arrived In New-York I was at once marked by
my acquaintances at a victim of consumption. I must
confess that I saw no sufficient reason to doubt what my
friends all believed. At this time 1 commenced taking
your truly Invaluable medicine, with little expectation of
dorlvlng any benefl from Its use. You would not re
ceive these lines did I not regard It my duty to state to
the affilcted, through you, that my health, tn the apace of
eight months. Is follv restored. I attribute It to the use
of your CHERRY PECTORAL.
Yours, truly, WILLIAM W. SMITH.
Washington, Pa* April 12,1848.
Dear Sir:—Feeling that I hnve been spared from a pre
mature grave through your Instrumentality, by the pro-
videnoe of God, I will take the liberty to express to you
my gratitude.
A cough and the atarmlng symptoms of Consumption
had reduced me too low to leave mo anything like nope,
when my physician brought me a bottle of your ’’Pec
toral.’’ It seemed to afford Immediate relief, and now,
in a few weeks’ time, bas restored mo to souud health.
If It will do for others what it haa done for me, you are
certainly one ofth* benefactors of mankind.
Sincerely wishing you every blessing, I am,

Messrs. ■ Bands—GcDtlomen t—About three months
since, the disease called “Beard, or Barber’s llcb,” ap
peared on my tece, and u It Is of rare occurrence-no
cue as yet having come under the care of our village
physicians—1 found It very difficult even to step the pro-
gross of the disease on my tece, although I tried reme-
ate* foftjhsd cured from the pimple on a child’s race to
the galled breut of a canal horse; and eVen pulled out
my beard on the side of my ’free and chin. A short time
since, a friend told me that he had It for two years, and
tried different remedies without success, but finally cared
it In a short time by the use of Sands’ Sarsaparilla. On this
recommendation, I bought one bottle, and finding I re
ceived benefit from U, l continued It* use until t am now
perfectly eurod. I am led to bring this to your notice
i [ratultqusly, from the feet that tbe dlseaso 1s not named
in the list of complaints for which tho Sarsaparilla la a
remedy, and that you may bo able confidently to recom
mend It for such cases.
Yours, truly, GEO. E. SCOTT.
REMARKABLE CURE OF BRONCHlTi8.
„ _ ' *. Nrw-York, Feb. 17, 1849.
Messrs. Bands:—Having suffered many years with a
dlseaw of my throat, affecting the larynx, during which
Ime 1 was treated by the most distinguished physicians
n Europe and the United 8tatea, without receiving any
permanent bqiioflt, but all the time my general health
and strength declining, and the disease making fearfol
progress. Caustic apuilcntlons were used, and whatever
else was thought most efficient forproduciuga cure; but
1 am confident the deplorable situation 1 was In, the la-
ryngllte being sccoinpsnled with phtlsls and great dlffl-
cul y In breathing, would soon have terminated my life,
bad 1not obtained relief through the medium of yourln-
valuablo Swsnparllla. I must say. gentlemen, when I
commenced using tho Sarsaparilla, ( did not place raueh
confidence in ils virtues; and this will not surprise you
when you are nforraod I bad tried more than fifty differ
ent remedies during tho past fouryears, without any sue.
cess; but after taking your Sareaparilla a few weeks, ! was
obliged at last to yield lo evidence. This marvellous spe.
clflc has not only relieved, but cured me; and 1 therefore
think It my duty, geullemen, for tbe benellt of suffering
humanity, toglve you this attestation of my cure.
Yours, very truly, ©.PARENT.
