of the use of the ” Double Refined I’oudretle"
on my tttfoa- I tried it on both com and cotton,
and am satisfied wherever it was applied the yield
was more thau double what it would have been
without it. I regret exceedingly my not using it
more extensively the present year, hut will try
to make up my loss by purchasing a larger
Quantity next spring. I regard it a* the cheapest,
most reliable, and easiest managed fertilizer with
in my knowledge, and cheerfully recommend it (as
I have tried it thoroughly) to tho farmers of this
section, and particularly to those planting cotton,
from tho faetkif its causing it to mature from ten
days to two weeks earlier thau it would witliou
the nee of the Pondrette. I also used it on my
garden, and found it of much benefit to all kinds of
plants.
Very respectfully, etc.,

The Double Refined Pondrette is operating like

attention from all beholders. lam already
satisfied that it is the cheapest and surest renovator
of our worn-out lands.

Jam as R. Day, Esq.:
Sir—The Double Refined Pondrette I bought
lor two other parties in connection with myself—
one of them used it on cotton and corn, and thinks
it answered finely; the other put it on cotton, on
very poor ground, and thinks it doufjltd his crop.
I used it on com. It answered finely, and was
thought by the hand that cultivated the crop to
he fully equal tq Rhode’s Super Phosphate. I
also used it on about ail acre of cotton, and I am
clearly of opinion that it is the best and cheapest
fertilizor in use, and I expect to order several
tons this winter.
Yours, very respectfully,
ISAAC POWELL.

drilled in with cotton seed.

Dear Sir—l can safely say that your Doublo
Refined Pondrette is far superior to any fertilizer

season.

Sir—l applied the Double Refined Poudrette

Our own opinion is. that no family should be
without a bottle of it for a single hour. Jn flesh
wounds, aches, pains, sores, etc., it is the most
effectual remedy we know of.— News, El. John,
11 Canada East.
It is one of the best preparations in use. und
from experience we can highly recommend it.—
Sunbeam, Boston.
After many years trial of Davis' Pain Killer,
we advise that every family should provide
themselves with so effectual and speedy a Pain
Killer. —Amcrhcst fN. Sj Gazelle.
Tlie Pain Killer of Perry Davis &, Son we can
confidently recommend. We have used it for a
length of time, ami invariably with success.—
