SOMEBODY AT THE DANCE
TO-NIGHT.
Somsbody will W at Ute Dum to-night—
Somebody that lore* wall—
Aid her hurt will throb and hir ehaak grow
bright
Ai th« ro«« in her native <Mt.
Soihoiiy wiil W it lh« Due* to-night,
Whom eye will reek nt own,
With • holy tmrt ul • rest delight
Which they giro to mine alone.
Somebody trill he at the Donee to night,
With a heart whore hidden key
I found concealed one moonlight night
In a tote rhe gore to me.
Somebody will be at the Dio re to-night,
With a heart to me as true
As her fragrant, flowing robe is white—
As her ribbons ire bright and bine.
While apart from the reckless crowd we stand,
With a smile of lore divine.
Somebody will neetle a little hand,
Like a little dove, in mine.
Dear little hand of the soft caress.
Aa white aa the foam of the sea ;
Itspulses, so delicate, all confess
The lore she would hide from me. *
Somebody will bo at tbc Dance to-night.
With a rose in her •ilkos> hair,
And ber heart as fresh as the petals white,
And as pare as angel’s prayer.
Somebody will wear at the Dance to-nigbt,
A kiss on her lips for me ;
Lore’s ornament, so purely bright,
That only a lover may see.
When the rose-buds dream of the dreamy May,
And awake to find her near.
And the sephyrs cool in the tree-tops play,
And the turtle's voice we hear.
Wbeu the tender buds and leaflets green
Float in the warm spring tide,
And the summer's dream in the sky is seen,
Somebody will be my bride.

Opinions of the Press.
“Musical Festivals” several times postponed,
compelling purchasers of tickets to wait months
for the distribution, has impaired public confidence
n such affairs. The only fair system of distribu
tion is the old and popular one of Sealed Tickets,
stating the prize, which will be delivered immedi
ately, on payment of the one dollar. That is the
plan of H. IJARTON & CO., at 599 Broadway,
the most attractive place of the kind now in oper
ation. They are doing the largest business, and
deserve their success. You can not draw a
$100,900 farm there, but have a reasonable cliance
for a good prize, as we know mauv that have been
drawn, and the firm is reliable. —Morning Adver
tiser, Oct. 25 tk, 1867.
The New York Gift Company are distributing
many valuable prizes. We have examined their
manner of doing business aud know them to be a
fair dealing firm. Their plan is more satisfactory
than “Presentation Festivals,"as thevdraw every
day, and the subscriber need not nay for the prize
drawn, unless snited.— Gazette, Oct. 24fA. 1867.
The Gift establishment of H Barton & Cos ,at
599 Broadway, is daily attracting crowds of visi
tors to witness the drawing process. Tiie invest
ment is bat 25 cents for the cliance. and the prize
drawn, if satisfactory, is immediately delivered
for one dollar. A friend of ours, last week, drew
a SSOO prize, which he promptly received.— Trans
cript, Sept. 23tk, 1867.
