This Prof. Roberts aims to do by the great science of Animal Magnetism, and that, too, without drugs! It is the only system of the medication that has God as its authority and example, or that can he sustained by science or common sense. Consultation free. GREAT TRIUMPH OF ANIMAL MAGNET ISM IN AUGUSTA !—“ OLD FOGYISM ” AND THE ENEMIES OF TRUTH GET A " REGULAR" NORTHWESTER. August*, Ga., March 12,1808. I hereby certify that I have been partially para lyzed for tour years. Four months of that timo I was not able to make a step, or even so much as move one of my toes ou either foot, and was en tirely destitute of feeling in my legs. I was examined by forty eight Confederate Army Surgeons, all pronouncing me incurable— having Curvature of the Spine, which produced paralysis. I commenced taking treatment of Pro lessor Roberts, March 4th, 1808, and now, after taking nine treatments, by Animal Magnetism , I leel like a “new creature!" I can now stand up, and walk any desired distance , without crutches or canes , which was utterly impossible for more than four years before seeing Dr. Roberts. For reputation and responsibility. I refer those interested to Mr. W. A. Ramsey. Mr. Edward Rodgers, Mr. John M. Clark. Mr. Nicholas Young blood. and Mr. John Houston, all of Augusta, Ga. Mv address is Edgefield Courthouse. S. C. [Signed] A. SHARPTON, Jn. Professor Roberts will heal the sick at Augusta Hotel, until May Ist, 1808. Augusta, Ga. , Feb. SKRh, 1808. This is to certify that I have been treated by Prof. Roberts for a dropsical tumor iu the left side, with which I have been afflicted for the last seven years, and am confident that I am entirely cured, not having experienced any of the unpleasant symptoms whi-n I did before the treatment, aud this by animal magnetism. MARTHA A. GORDON. I am cognizant ol all the facts contained in the above statement, the lady having been a member of my family for a number of years. ANDREW G. LaTASTE. Augusta Hotel, Augusta, Ga. [ mi iiii,» .im* mm ilns cerlilies tlmt 1 have been a great “ulierer with Rheumatism for five years, my left ankle being much swollen, very stiff and painful. I was treated twice only 0v Dr. Roberts, at the Augusta Hotel, February IBth and 2lltb, 1808, aud now iiave not one symptom of Rheumatism or pain in my body. All the medicine I had taken seemed to make me worse, and I never had any relief until I was treated magnetically. People may laugh ; hot I have no more rheumatic pains —that’s so. 1 work in the Augusta Hotel. (Signed | NANCY MASON. I had of late grown rapidly worse, until three day:, since I was brought to this city on a bed, being entirely unable to sit np, for the purpose of consulting the far famed Prof. Roberts. After the first treatment, which was only a few minutes. I was free of ail pain and able to walk anywhere, and to-day I feel so well and strong 1 can scarcely realize that I am the same being who was so feeble aud suffer ing so much three days since. 1 cun never express my heartfelt gratitude to the mail whose wonder ful skill has thus relieved me of so much inexpres sible suffering. May God bless the Doctor wherever he goes, is tiiy humble prayer. (Signed) Mbs. J. 11. NASH, Lovejoy’s Station, Georgia. Atlanta, Ga., Feb. 5,1808. To whom it may concern : This will certify that, for eight, months past I havo been afflicted with Neuralgia ill the right side of the face, aud most of tlie time suffered most excruciating pain, during which time I have sought relief in vain from the regular medical profession ; and 1 limber certify that I was relieved tho first time I was treated by Prof. Roberts, aud apparently perma neatly cured after being treated the third time. I meet confidently recommend him to all similarly afflicted. ' J. B. LANIER. Atlanta, Ga., March 7th, 1868. Dr. R. R. Ilobcrls : —This is to certify that I have, for five years past, been afflicted with goitre. Physicians pronounced it incurable, and from them I obtained no relief, but upon the con trary continued to grow worse, until treated by you four times, by Animal Magnetism, iu January aud February, 1808, since which time it has almost disappeared, and I am entirely relieved from suf fering with it. I am very kindly, yours, forever, Signed] J. P. PUGH. \\ itness to the above : Col. R. J. COWART. Atlanta, Ga., March 3d, 1868. This certifies tlmt I have suffered exceedingly with a largo tumor ou the left side of my face for twenty-five years. During this age of torture it lias been removed twice by painful surgical opera tioiis, which ouly seemed to aggravate its growth. When Dr. Roberts came to Atlanta I took treat ment bv Animal Magnetism, aud have been greatly benefitted bv him—in point of truth, more than by the entire twenty seven “regular” doctors who have attended me. Under the treatment, the tumor softened and re duced in size, the hearing in my left ear lias been restored, and my left arm, which was almost use less, lias been restored to its original strength. I can now sleep on my left side—a thing 1 could not do for many years before. I firmly believe if I could continue the treatment the tumor would entirely disappear. Mas. J. G.
