PAIN KILLER.
Wli ASK THE ATTENTION OF THE PUB
LIC to this long tested and unrivalled
FAMILY MEDICINE.
It has been favorably known for more than
twenty years, during which time we have received
thousands of testimonials,..bowing this Medicine
to b* an almost never-failing remedy for diseases
caused by or attendant upon —
Sudden Colds, Coughs, Fever and Ague,
Headache, Bilious Fever, Pains in the Side.
Back and 1 joins, as well as in the Joints and
Limbs; Neuralgia and Rheumatic Pain in
any part of the system, Toothache and Pains
in the head and face.
Asa Blood Purifyer and Tonic for the
Stomach, it seldom fails to cure Dyspepsia,
Indigestion, Liver Complaint, Acid Stomach,
Heartburn, Kidney Complaints, Sick Head
ache, Piles, Asthma or Phthisic, Ringworms,
Boils, Felons. Whitlows, Old Sores, Swelled
Joints, and General Debility of the System.
It is also a prompt and sure remedy for
Cramp and Pain in the Stomach, Painter’s
Colic, Diarrhoea, Dysentery, Summer Com
plaint, Cholera Morbus, Cholera Infantum,
■'kalds, Burns, Sprains, Bruises, Frost Biles,
Chilblains, as well as the Stings of Insects,
Scorpion, Centipedes, and the Bites of
Poisonous Insects and Venomous Reptiles.
See Directions accompanying eath bottle.
It has been trieel in every variety of climate,
itiul by aim st every nation known to Ameri
cans. It is the almost constant companion
and inestimable fiend of the missioiutry
and the traveller, on land and sea, and no
one should travel on our lakes or rivers
without it.
Prices, 25 cents, 50 cents, and $f per Indite.
Perry Davis’ Pain Killer.— We have often
spoken of this great medicine in term# of very
high praite, and we have as often felt that all we
could say in its favor would not do it full justice.
It is ouc of those medicine# of which we can
.peak—and speak decisively—from experience ;
for we have repeatedly taken it, and invariably
with tbe beat results aud greatest satisfaction.
We always keep it on hand, ready for an emer
gency, and wc regard it not only as one of the
very best medicines in use for various ills, but
as one of tbe cheapest, also. Its cost, by tbe
way—that is, the cost ot the ingredients of which
it is composed—has been considerably increased,
bat tbe price of the medicine has been but very
little advanced. It is not likely that the popu
larity of Davis’ Pain Killer Will in any measure
decrease, or that the demand for.tt will in the
slightest degree decline, until some other specific
for allaying.pain and curing various complaints
for which it la so generally used, shall be dis
covered, of equal potency with it—of which
there seems to be but little probability. Asa
remedy for stomach complaints, such a* dysen
tery, diarrhoea, etc., the Pahi Killer U, without
doubt, uo.urpaa.ed, and every where most de
servedly in demand. One, two, or three doles,
of a toatpoonful each, in a wine glass of milk
and water, with a little sugar, have repeatedly,
within oar knowledge, effectually cured serious
trouble of this kind. Judgment should undoubt
edly be used in cheeking certain stages of diar
rbma too suddenly; but taken at the proper
time, the Pam Killer will act like a cb.rm, and

How the Ready Relief Aots I
In a few minutes the patient will feel a
slight tingling irritation, and the skin be
comes reddened; if there is much distress in
the stomach, the Relief will assist nature in
removing the offending cause,—a general
warmth is 'felt throughout the entire body,
and its diffusive stimulating properties
rapidly courses through every vein and tisane
of the system, arousing the slothful and
partially paralyzed glands and organs to re
newed and healthy action, perspiration fol
lows, and the surface of the body feels in
creased heat The sickness at stomach, colds,
chills, head-ache, oppressed breathing, the
soreness of the throat, and all pains, either
internally or externally, rapidly subside, and
the patient fUls into a tranquil sleep, awakes
refreshed, invigorated, cured. • 1 1
It will be found that in using the Relief
externally, either on the spine or across tbe
kidneys, or over the stomach and bowels, that
for several days alter a pleasing warmth will
be felt, showing the length of time it con
tinues its influence OTer the diseased parts.

m DIGESTION !
In cases where natural evacuations are
difficult to secure, and a quick discharge is
essential, take six of Radway’s Pills and pul
verize them, —take the pill powder in water
or preserves,—in half an hour they will ope
rate. We have known tho most distressing
pains of Gastritis, Bilious Cholic, Inflamma
tion, Congestion, 4c., stopped, and the re
tained irritating humors expelled from.the
bowols in thirty minutes by this treatment.
It is however, better in chronic cases to take
the pills as they are, and let them gradually
dissolve in the stomach. These Pills possess
in the highest degree cathartic, aperient,
tonic, and diapharetic properties. They do
do not weaken or debilitate the system or
any of its organs, and will leave the bowels
reguia r and healthy. They purify and equal
ize the circulation of the blood. No conges

system is under their influence.’’’ Price 26

1 BETTER THAN 10
R. R. R. Resolvent cures with
astonishing rapidity every form
of Chronic, Scrofulous and Skin
Diseases, and exterminates all
corruption from the human
system.
One bottle of Dr. Radway’s Renovating Re
solvent contains more of the active curative
principles of the best Jamaica Sarsaparilla,
(Sarsaparillian,) than Ten of the largest size
bottles of the mixture sold under the name
of Sarsaparilla.
The process adopted by Dr. Radway in
securing extracts (prepared in vacuo,) of
Medicinal Roots, Plants, Herbs, and other
vegetables possessing great curaffve proper
ties over Scrofula, Chronic, Syphilitic and
all skin diseases, that enters into the com
position of the Renovating Resolvent, pro
duces only ONE OUNCE of the pure extract
out of 20 lbs. of the crude roots. The Inert
matter that enters so generally in the large
bottle mixtures and prepared uuder the offi
cinal or pharmacopeia formula, is, by Dr.
Radway’s process, cast aside as rubbish.'*
One teaspoonful of the Resolvent is suffi
cient for a dose for all Skin Diseases, Salt
Rheum, Pimples, Blotches, Sores and Erup
tions of the Skin, Humors in the Blood, 4c.
One teaspoonful, three times per day, will,
in a few days, make the Blood pure, the Skin
clear, the Eyes bright, the Complexion smooth
and transparent, the Hair strong, and remove
all Sores, Pimples, Blotches, Pustules, Tet

Neck, Mouth and Skin. It is pleasant to take,
and the dose is small. C

ALARMING INCREASE OF BLADDER,
KIDNEY and CALCULOUS DISEASES.
The annual reports of the Health Com
missioners of different cities, show a great
increase of deaths from diseases of the Kid
neys and Urinary Organs—RADWAY’S
RENOVATING RESOLVENT is the only
remedy that has dissolved calculous concretion.
Its SOLVENT, diuretic, lithontriptic and
tonic properties exceed that of any medi
cine in the world: it readily assimilates with
the fluids, and promotes their exit through
the Kidneys, Ureter and Bladder, removing
calculous obstructions, and correcting all de
rangement* of these organs.
So swift is this remedy in pass-.ng into ins cir
culation, that it has been detected m the urine in
six minutes after it has been taken ; by adding
to the liquid when cold a few pieces of starch,
then a few drops of nitric acid, the liquid
will change to a blue color. When brick
dust, or a thick white deposit, like the white
of an egg, (albumen,) is detected in the ves
sel, or bloody discharges from tho urethra,
or micturating in drops, accompanied by a
burning or scalding pain—the RESOLVENT
should be used, aiul R. R. RELIEF rubbed

RADWAY’S FILLS being an aperient,
