90 oat of 100 of deaths that annually
occur, arc caused by Prevent’,ble Diseases,
and the greater portion of those complaints
would, if Railway’s Ready Relief or l’ills
(as the case may require) were adminis
tered when pain or uneasiness or slight
sickness is experienced, be exterminated
from the system in a few hours. Faint
no matter from what cause, is almost in
stantly eured by the Ready Relief. In
cases of Rheumatism, Neuralgia, Sore
Throat, Diptherin, Colds, Head-ache, Tooth
ache, Cramps, Spasms, Bilious Colic, in
fact all Fains, Aches, and Infirmities,
either in the Stomach, Bowels, Bladder,
Kidneys, or the Joints, Muscles, Legs,
Arms, etc., will, in a ftw minutes , yield to
the soothing influence of the Ready Relief.
Every family should keep these life-saving
remedies in the house—can be used on all
occasions, where pain or sickness suddenly
seizes you, or accidents occur —are safe and
rapid in their effects—can lie taken or used
by infants as well as adults and all who
use them, no matter how sick, or great may
be their sufferings— v few hours in tins
worst cases, and a few minutes in ordiunry
complaints, will afford ease and comfort.

Tjl>Uoiil Fever.
This disease is not only cured by Dr.
Radw-ay's Relief and Fills, but prevented.
II exposed to it, put one teaspoonful of
Relief in a tumbler of wafer. Drink this
before going out in the morning, and seve
ral times during the day. Take one of
Radway’s Pills one hour before dinner and
one oa going to bed.
If seized with Fever, take four to six of
the Fills every six hours, until copious dis
charges from the bowels take place; also,
drink the Relief diluted with water, and
bathe the entire surface of the body with
Rcdief. Soon a powerful perspiration will
take place, and you will feel a pleas
ant heat throughout the system. Keep
on taking Relief immediately, every four
hours, also tho Fills. A cure will bo
sure to follow. The Relief is strengthen
ing, stimulating, soothing, and quieting ; it
is sure to break up tho Fever and to neu
tralize the poison. Let this treatment be
followed, and thousands will be saved.
The same treatment in Fryer and Ague,
Yelfow Fever, Ship Fever, Bilious Fever,
will effect it cure in twenty four hours.
When the patient feels the Relief irritating
or heating the skin, a cure is positive. In
all cases where pain is felt, the Relief
should be used.
Relief, 50 cents; Fills, 25 cents. .Sold
by all Druggists.

Wasuinuton, May 6, 1868.—House—Re
sumes business after tho court retires. On
conclusion of Bingham’s speech Stevens will
mako personal explanation.
New Hampshire State Convention passed
resolution in favor of Gen. Grant and im
peachment. Letters were read in the Con
vention front Butler and Washburn, giving
assurance of conviction.
Tho House went into a Committee of the
wholo with understanding that speakers
will avoid discussing impeachment.
Court densely crowded. Bingham con
cluded in effect as follows :
“lie might be pardoned for quoting the
words of England’s great historian, ‘that
had the case against James failed, the tree
of liberty would have crumbled,’ and shall
it be said in history, hereafter, that through
the defection of the American Senate, the
fair fabric of American liberty crumbled
into dust, and the name ol our republic
faded away before the nations. It is the
spirit of justice, of liberty, of equality that
makes your Constitution respected every
where. It gives the people the right to
make their own law, and it is this right
which is challenged by your recreant
Fresident. He claims the power to make
the laws—to be their dictator. If he is
allowed to do so it will be by the voice of
the Senate, not hy the free will of the
American people or through any neglect of
their representatives.
“Will the Senate set him above the Con
stitution, which he has violated, and which
ho swore to obey ? Perhaps he was saying
too much, but he asked Senators to remem
ber that he was speaking to-day in behalf
of a violated Constitution and Laws, and of
the rights of a free people; that he was
speaking in the name of half a million of
braves who slept in death to-day—who had
died that the nation might live. It only
remained for him to thank the Senate for
their attention, and to demand, in the name
of the House of Representatives and of a
free people, the conviction of this accused
President, who stands "guilty, before God
and man, of the high crimes and misde
meanors of which he stands impeached."
Applaut* followed.
Chase ordered the galleries cleared.
A motion to adjourn to Saturday was
lost—2o to 29.
Davis then closed.
The resolution to admit official reporters
was lost.
Sumner’s resolutions were discussed lo
adjournment.
Donnelly says lie was misunderstood in
the House. He neither desired, nor does he
desire, reconciliation with Washburn. His
proposition to tike n drink meant nothing of
that kind.
Grant sent a message to Congress cover
ing the communication from Canby, detail
ing the evil effect of compelling the State
officers of North and South Carolina to take
the lest oath. Many good men acting with
the Union patty can’t lake it ; other good
men, who could, decline taking it, feeling
that unworthy motives would be attributed
to them. Grant expresses no opinion on the
subject, hut merely transmits Canby’s letter.
A protest from the white people of South
Carolina, against tho Constitution, was
referred to the Reconstruction Committee.
