It is ono of thoso medicines of which wo can speak—and speak decisively—from experience ; tor we have repeatedly taken it, and invariably with the host results and greatest satisfaction. We always keep it on hand, ready for an emer gency, and we rogard it not only as one of the very best medicines in uso lor various ills, but as one of lhc cheapest, also. Its cost, by tho way—that is, the cost ot the ingredients of which it is composed—has been considerably increased, hut the prieo of tho modicino has been hut very little advanced, it is not likely that the popu larity of Davis’ Pain Killer will in any inoastiro decrease, or that tho domand for it will in the slightest degree decline, until sorao other specific for allaying pain and curing various complaints for which it is so gonoraily usod, shall ho dis covered, of equal potency with it—-of which there seems to he hut. little probability. Asa remedy for stomach complaints, such as dysen tery, diarrhoea, etc., the Pain Killor is, without doubt, unsurpassed, and every where most de servedly in demand. One, two, or three doses, ol a teaspoontul each, in a wine glass of milk and water, with a little sugar, havo repeatedly, within our knowledge, effectually cured serious trouble of this kind.
