A Good Thing.— We think we de serve some credit. YVe have made a good many people, who never before read the Scriptures, open their Bibles. YVe told them on tho Ist instant to look for the 16th verse of tho 21#t chapter of First Samuel, and they would bo astonished. M’oll, so they were; they were astonished to find that thero was no 16th verse to that chapter. But it is to he hoped that they did not stop there. They may have found some thing to interest them, and perhaps benefit them, morally at least, and if so, why we have done some good, and given our readers a little amusement withal. Riciikoxd County Inferior Court. —This Court was in session yesterday morning. Messrs. Matt. Shcron, Tax Re ceiver, and John A. The verdict of the Jury was in accordance with the facts, which have already been given. Potatoes and Cheese. —Two gifts of nature to man of no small importance. There’s no blockado now, so let us indulge while wo can. J. G. Bailie A Bro. offer these articles for sale cheap.
