Bus. sell, Esq., they feel much indebted for their great kindness in throwing open their Lodge Room to the patrons of the Fair; as also, for their very moderate charge for use of the Hall. To Messrs. Mosher, Thomas A Schaub, for the loan of crockery without charge. To the lamp man, W. J. Farr, for lamps furnished gratuituously. To Messrs. John Ryan & Cos., for a bounteous supply of soda water. To the Matrons of the Southern Fair in Baltimore, through Mrs. Kearns and Mrs. Salter, they are greatly indebted for rich and valuable contributions. To Messrs John Murphy & Cos, Baltimore, and Messrs. J. B. Kirker & Cos., New York, Catholic book publishers, they feel under great obliga- Cions for their kindness in selecting articles for the Fair, as, also, for their liberal donations. And last, though not least, to the generous and high toned Press of Augusta, for their cordial and generous sentimeuts in advocacy of the orphans.
