In April It, on your recommendation, I purchased One dollar bottle of you for pains with lick I have long been afflicted, and made e of it on my trip down to Now Orleans, th tie most gratifying and beneficial eels. On my return to this city, the lolera made its appearance among some my passengers. I made use of the Pain iller. having no other remedy on board, id, to my surprise and gratification, found gave immediate relief! On my arrival St. Louis, I called on you anil got four rge bottles, and stated to you mv cond uce in it as an infallible Cholera remedy, id remarking to you that I wanted no her Cholera remedy on my boat. X made e of the four bottles on my trip to New ■leans and back, for Cholera and feme her complaints for which it is rccotn snded, and met with the most astonishing ccess ; when I ordered from you six more e dollar bottles. Since then I have ide two moro trips to New Orleans and ek : and on my previous trip up I had ire than SEVENTY CASES OF CHOLERA i board, when the PAIN KILLER was [mediately used with the most astonishing lults. In all cases where it was used in ne, it gave relief in a very short time ; and I can, with confidence, say to the pub 1, that in-all the first stages of Cholera, |en taken in time, it is, in my opinion, an fallible remedy! and after a fair trial th it for several weeks, and tor four bs to New Orleans and back, and using libr Cholera and other complaints for Boh it is recommended, no consideration iatever weuld induce mo to leave port thout a good supply—believing it. to be a Idicine that no officer of a boat or any bily would be without a single day after fug one bottle; believing it to be the Ist valuable family medicine known to > world for all the different complaints (which it is recommended. The Court held tliatladies, or those wish to be considered such, are legally entitled to no more privileges in public conveyances than men. —A gentleman of strong matrimo nial inclinations, who has been recently giving the fair sex an opportunity to say “yes" or “no,” furnishes the following: “Oftentimes a girl says ‘no’ to an offer, when it is as plain as the nose on her face she means ‘yes.’ The best way to judge whether she is in earnest or not, is to look straight into her eyes, and never mind her nose. ’ — Petersburg Ex press. —Vigee, taking the portrait of a lady, perceived that when he was working at the month she was twisting her features in order to render it smaller, and put her lips into the most violent contractions.
