We are to-day enabled, through the
kindness of Mr. Matt O’Brien, of the
Southern Express Company, to publish
a list ol all the Georgians who were in
terred at Washington, D. C. t during the
war, together with some valuable infor
mation contained in the following com
munication from that gentleman :

Dear Sir—l received through T. B. Baker,
Esq., of the “ Burial Record Department,”
a complete lut of the names, rank, company,
etc., of the Confederate Doad in Washing
ton, ns reported to Col. Jas. M. Moore, in
charge of tho entire Mortuary Record, and
have picked out those of the StAto of Geor
gia, which I enclose to you (at the sugges
tion of iny brother) for publication in one
of the principal papers.
Any further information that the friends
of the deceased soldiers may wish to obtain,
will be cheerfully given upon application,
either by letter or in person, to Col. Jas. M.
Moore, A.Q.M., U.S.A., or the recording
Clerk, T. Brougham Baker, Esq., at Wash
ington.

aid those in search of their lost and dear

National Express Company.— Tho
Richmond Times is responsible for the
following:
In the case of Reynolds against the
National Express Company, which was
argued before the United States Court,
some days since, has been decided by
his Honor, Judge Under#ood, by grant
ing the injunction as prayed for in the
bilh The writ restrains and enjoins
the Express Company from selling the
complainaut’s stock, or in any way
attempting to collect farther assess
ments ou his stock, and also enjoins the
Directors and Agents of the Company
from pledging, using, or applying the
money, property, or effects of the Com
pany for any object other than the reg
ular and legitimate Express and Trans
portalion business, and from fulfilling
or carrying out tho agreement with
Benjamin Ficklin, its Superintendent,
mentioned in said bill, or troui carrying
out any similar agreement with any
other person.
The agreement with Mr. Ficklin, re
ferred to in the decision, is in the form
of a proposition made by that gentle
man to the Board of Direc tors, which
was accepted by them, and is as fol
lows :

mond :
I proposo to subscribe for $6,000,000
stook of your Company, provided I be made
General Superintendent of the Compauy,
at a salary of $2,500 per annum; and as
such Superintendent shall have entire con
trol of the active operations of the Com
pany, appoint and remove the officers and
einployeos, and establishing, changing, or
discontinuing routes or lines, according to
my judgment, the President and Directors
being expected to make such financial ar
rangements ns will enable me to carry out
my plans. I propose to place my stock in
the hands of a trusleo for ten years, and
that it shall be held and voted nu as a unit
for that time, the trustee to be named by
mo and appointed bv the President and
Directors. Yours, truly,

To which was added the report of
the Committee of Stockholders, as fol
lows :
Your committee further report that Mr.
Ficklin agrees to pay $20,000 in cash, and
give his note for $80,060, at sixty days
from date, and the balance to be paid as re
