The whole affair wits quite unique, tasteful, and appropriate—all but the taste, and about as agreeable as Dr. Bee’s prescrip tions usually are, though, perhaps, not nl efficacious. Accompanying this hand some testimonial, was the following note, handed to Blobbs by' “the Doctor of Alcantara” liimself. “We. the undersigned—Bachelors— in meeting assembled, having heard from Mr. J. C., on Monday. Mrs. P, was, for a number of years, a resident of Augusta. Her record ns a true-hearted, Christian lady, is unspotted.
