Opinions of the Press, Clergy, Etc. TT« t sitl make a few short extracts from the m6ny Testimonials toe have received from time to time, unsolicited . From Editors. The New York Examiner, Bays: Every mother and housekeeper must often act as a family physician in the many ill nesses and accidents that occur among chil dren and servants. For many of these cases, I have used Davis’ Pain killer, and consider it an indispensable article in the medicine box. In diarrhoea, it has been used and effected cures. For cuts and bruises, it is invaluable. The Editor of the ChrUtian Advocate, says: It is a real pleasure to ns to speak favorably of this article, known almost universally to be a good and safe remedy for burns and other pains of the body. It is valuablo not only for colds in the winter, but for various summer complaints, and should be in every family. A. D. Milter, Editor of Mettenger, Glens Falls, N. Y., says : There is no medicine at the present day I value so highly as Perry Davis’Vegetable Pain Killer. I have used it in my family for years; in every instance it has proved a sovereign remedy. I tested its qualities to-day on a severe burn, and found it all that could be desired. Mr. John Jackson, of the Calais Adcer titer, writes: I know it to be all it is recommended, having used it in my family six or seven years. The Salem Obncrver says : No articlo of medicine ever attained to such unbounded popularity and extensive diffusion. It has penetrated to every part, even the most remote, of the known world, bearing with it ita healing influences more patent than those of the spices of “Araby the blessed.” We are informed by our principal druggists, that they sell inoro of this article for exportation than of any or all others, and that the demand is ooostanty increasing. The Cincinnati Nonpareil, Nov. 14, 1849, says : Some of onr most prominent cltliens and business men strongly recommend it to the public as an article of great merit and virtue, and that they never knew any medicine to become so dcsorvedly popular in so short a time. From Clergymen. Rev. J. C. Boomer says : I have used Perry Davis' Pain Killer with great success in cases of cholera infantum, common bowel oomplaint, bronchitas, coughs, colds, etc., and would cheerfully recommend it as a valuable family medicine. Rev. J. G. Stearns, says: I consider it the best remedy I ever knew for dyspepsia. Rev. Edward X. Fuller says : I have witnessed the beneficial effects of your Pain Killer in cases of dysentery and cholera morbus, within a few months past, and would cheerfully ( recpmmend its use to such as may be suffering from similar dis eases, as a safe and effectual remedy. Rev. A. Webster, Editor of the Christian Era, writes: I bave used your Pain Killer for many years in my family with much satisfaction. pc2B—2m Crockery, Glassware, etc. JUST RECEIVED !
