KELLY, , Opposite the Pulaski House, dec 15 11 tf G raefenberg M E D I- CINES.—The Graofanburg Compound Sarsaparilla is given up,hy all who have occasion to test its virtue, to be the most genuine and valuable Sarsaparilla that is now offered to the public. The Gaefenburg Health Bitteis, Eye Lotion, &c., are now extensively used by some of the. most respectable citizens of Savannah, all of whom have spoken in the highest terms of their value; and it is a fact worthy of note, that if any person buys one of these articles, they are sure to return and purchase again. The Agent has always on hand a supply of Sar- rsapurilla Compound; Vegetable Pills; Fever and Ague Pills; Health Bitters; Eye Lotion; Consumptives Balm; Uretine Catholecon; Green Mountain Ointment; Children’s Panacea; a very valuable spring Medicine for children; Dysentery Syrup and Pile Ointment, both of which are warranted to cure—no cure, no pay. SARSAPARILLA. The Sarsaparilla Compound of this company is almostlit- erally a sulphate of sarsaparilla. So high ly concentrated is it that the dose is but the half of a very small teaspoonful, while the dose of that whiehis sold in large bottles is nearly a wine g ass ful. En addition to Snrsaparilla i contains a powerful concentration of mandrake, bur-dock,queetis-delight,elder yellow dock gui- acum, andothor important medicaments whichare not found in any other preparation. In consequence of this unpardonable dilution, and of the imperfect modes of extracting, the noble and healthgiving Sarsaparilla has passed through many changes in the estimation of medi cal men. Properly prepared and of' proper strength it is the most powerful agent in the world to cleanse the system from its foulest taints. ThisCompound is prepared on an entirely new plan, by costly Ui)d elaborate machinery, by means of which all the delicate propertties of Sarsaparilla and otberlngredionts are obtained in their highestdegree of excellence. Tim inert feculent mutter which enenmbers all other Sar saparilla preparation is also precluded from this Compound by the same means. One bottle of tho Graefenberg Snrsaparilla will go as far as ten bottles of ordinary Sarsaparilla, an.l is, therefore, TEN TIMES CHEAPER Price $1. The names of the Graefenberg Medicines are: Vegetable Pills, 25 cents per box. Green Mountain Ointment, S3 cents per bo«. Dysentery Syrup, 50 cents per bottle. Sarsaparilla Compound, SI per bottle. Children’s Panacea, 50 ceuts per botti«. Eye Lotion, 25 cents per bottle. Health Bitters, 25 cents per paper. Fever aud Ague Pills, SI p-n oom.. Gonsumprivo’s Balm, $3 per nottlo. As when tho sun in darkness seta, And night falls on the earth, Along the azure fields above, The star* of heaven como forth; So, when the sun of, Liberty Grows dim to mortal eyes, , ,1 From out tho gloom, like radiant stars, The world’s true heroes rise. The men of human destiny, Whom glorious dreams inspire; High-priests of Freedom, in whose souls Is shrined tlie sacred fire. The fire that through the wilderness, In steadfast lustre gleams, That on the future dim mid dark, Sheds its etthlgcnt beams. Thus, oh Hnngnrin ! through the night That wraps thee in its gloom, Light from one burning soul streams forth, A torch above thy tomb, Thy tomb ! oh no—the mouldering shroud The worm awhile must wear, Ere, from its confines springing forth, He wings the upper air. Thy tomb! then from its door ere long, The stone shall roll away; Thou shall come forth, and once again Greet tho new risen duy. That day, that prayed and waited for Solong, shall surely rise, As surely us to morrow's syn Again shall greet our eyes. What though, before the shape evoked, Tho coward heart lias quailed, And when tho hour, the moment came, The rccreunt arm has failed; What though the apostate wields thoswonl With fratricidal hni.d, •/ And the last Romans wander forth In oxil o'er tho land; What though suspended o’er tboe hangs The Austrian’s glittering steel. Wlint though thy heart is crushed beneath The Imperial Cossack’s heel. Not to the swift is given the race, The battle to the strong; Up to the listening, ear of God Is borne the mighty w rong. From him the mandate lias.gone forth, The Gilfltt Power must fall; Oh, prophet! read's! thou not the doom, The writing on the wall l The slaves of power, the sword, tho scourge, The seaffold and tho chain, A while may claim their hecatombs Of hero-martyrs slain. But they that war with Tyranny Still mightier weapons bear ; Winged, arrowy thoughts, tliatpierce likeliglit, Impalpable as air. Thoughts that strike through tho triple .mail, That spread and burn and glow, More quenchless than the;, firethe Greek Rained on his Moslem foe. Rest, rest in peace, heroic shades! Whoso blood like water ran ; For every crimson drop ye shed Shall rise an armed muii. Rest, rest in peace, heroic hearts ! Who wander still on earth, Thoughts, your immortal meseengess. Are on their mission forth- The prisoners of liberty, Invincible they throng ; They scale und undermine the towers And battlements of wrong. Spen]t! sagos, poets, patriots, speak! ,nd the dark pile shall fall, As at the proph-.-t’s trumpet blast, Once fell the city’s w all. T URPENTINE.—10 Barrels City Dis tilled for sale by July 31 J. G.
