COTTON.—No sales were reported yesterday- AUGUSTA, April 9.—The receipts at Augusta and Hamburg continue very trifling, and the business ot tin-past week has been moderate. 1 he accounts re- eived oil Friday momentarily depressed prices, and some few sales were made at a decline ot from k tot of a cent, but holders withdrew their stocks, and pur chases could not be made on Saturday and yesterday unless at the lull prices prevailing before the stenni- or's news was received.
