Infamous Outrage and Robbery.—Wejiave
the particulars of an inhuman outing' in the
heart of nurcity. between the hours of 7 and 8
Wednesday evening last.
An orphan eirl of some 18 yenrs, living on
corner of Court nnd Fifth streets, had gone to
no Post Office on Tuesdav evening with the ex-
pfetution of receding n letter containing mo
ney to cn ry her home to her unvle’s in Wayne
County. Sue i-eeived the letter an I opened it
in the Post Office—enclosed was the sum ot
Twenty-live dollars in bank hills. She stayed
hat nigot at a friend’s house opposite the Post
Office, on Seneca street, temainiiig there lu
