sents no new features from those noticed in Satur
day’s paper. Money is, if anything, easier on call,
with bettor facilities for negotiating on undoubted se
curities. We quote:
Loans on call, 5 a 7 per cent; prime 30 a 60 days’
commercial paper, 6 a 7 per cent; do longer dates,
7 u 9 per cent, and fair paper, though less known on
tae market, 9 a 12 per cent.
The transactions in Foreign Exchanges for the
steamer have commenced, Sterling continues firm,
aud small sales have been made by one or two lead
ing drawers at 8} a 9. Mimy buyers are holding
