AUGUSTA. April 25.—Some few sales were made on Monday at un udvance of jut cent. Holders generally ask j- cent advance, but otfer their stocks very sparingly. To-day market closed quiet, the Fraies being only to a limited extent A crop lot of 170 bales, a good style of middling was sold at Ilf. The total receipts this week are 35,535 bales against 50,599 for this week last year. The total receipts show a decrease of 566, 085 bales. The receipts ul- ter this late last year wore 370,000 hales. FREIGHTS “—The river continues in gobd order. The shipments of cotton arc Very trifling, not aver aging 100 bales to each boat which leaves Augusta ' and Hamburg.
