MORNING NEWS. fPislrcssing Casualty.—On Sunday evening a htv til four, two ladies and two gentlemen, [arted to cross the Indian River, at Rosste, . V., in a small boat, for the purpose of visiting, |esmelting works, on the opposite aide of the tr. Three of the party (the ladies and one of egentlemen) had got into the boat, and before e other could get in ; the first named three la playful humor, shoved off. After doing so, lev found they had no paddles, nnd were soon ■the mercy of the current, whicn was quite rnp- lanil was sweeping them to a fall a short dis- nce below. The young man became so much Igluened that he leaped into the river, nnd was lmedialely followed by the ladies. He, how ler, succeeded in reaching the shore, hut the pent swept the young ladies over the fall, arid lev were drowned. The names of the parties tre tint ascertained. STATES; H AVING received a small supply of TEA NUTS) collected at great expense of money and labor, In the middle districts of China, from the most cele brated Ten Plantations of the Empire, I am prepared to fulfil my engagements by accommodating the pub lic with a t hare oi the Nuts received. My main ob ject is to plant and cultivate; hut ns I am quite cer tain that 1 have obtained, after tho labor of three years, the beet quality of Tea Nuts, I am disposed to meet the wishes of the public, nnd to share them with ethers.—Tea Nuts gathered in the neighborhood of Canton are scarcely worth cultivating, on account of the inferior quality of the Tea. It is obviously the interest of the planter to submit to an increased ex pense, to secure a superior quality of Tea Not, in es tablishing a Tea Plantation, whether large or Email.
