THE GREATEST DISCOVERY OF THE
AGE.
D R. TOBIAS’S VENETIAN LINIMENT is war
ranted tg be superior lo any other medicine yet
known for the cure of
irons, Burns, Coughs, Lumbago, Headache, Dysen
tery, Chilblains, Son Sickness, Chapped Hands,
Old Sores, Croup, Stccllings, Warts, Hemorrhage.
Cramp, Chronic Rheumatism, Weakness in the
Limbs, Cholera, Vomiting, Cats, Bruises, Cold
Feet, Corns, Tooth-Ache, Sore Throats, Talpitation
of the Heart, Ac.
This Liniment was the discovery of the late Dr. So
lomon, of Gilead House, Liverpool, a graduate of the
College of Surgeons in Dublin, nud was used with
great success throughout England during a period of
15 years, Bince which it has become the property of
the present proprietor, the grandson of tile late doc
tor ; and during the time it has been introduced into
this country over 1000certificates have been received,
speaking in the highest terms of its pain releiving
qualities ; and to prove what it is represented to be,
every agent I? ordered to refund the money should it
fail to give relief when used according to the drections.
A few certificates are given.
Certficate oi Mrs. L. I. Cohen.
Having used in my family, with the most complete
success, Dr. Tobias's Venetian Liniment for croup,
oougli, headache pain in the limbs, sore throat, Ac., 1
feellt no more than un act of justice to the Doctor to
give this certificate ; and the speedy cures it has nffec-
ted, have been most astonishing. 1 am never without
a bottle of it in my house, and uni sure no one will re
gret trying it. *
SOPHIA COHEN, 261 Ninth street.
Certificate of Mrs. W. E. Cornish.
Dr. Tullius—Sir ; One of my children wus severely
attacked with erot p. I used your. Venetian Lim-
ineut which gave immediate relief, and I reully think
it was the means of saving my child’s life. U ider
no consideration would I be without a bottle in my
house. 1 also consider it a most certain remedy for
scalds and bruises, having thoroughly tested it fur the
same.
SARAH CORNISH,354 Bowery.
City and County of New York, ss—Andrew Hun
ter, of said city, being duly sworn, doth depose und
say, that he was engaged in superintending the con
struction of a sewer iii 30th street, between the 6th
and fith avenues, and in hoisting up a lurge stone of
nearly a ton weight, the fall gave way and precipita
ted deponent, with the stone, into the sewer, a distance
of over fifteen feet.striking him on the back and
shoulder, which so severely jammed and bruised de
ponent, thuthe wus taken up insensible und thought
to be killed. Dr. Tobias was immediately sent lor,
and applied tin Venetian Liniment, which so revived
this deponent that in a few minutes he was able to
speak ; nud by the constant use of this most valuable
preparation, lie was sufficiently recovered to uttend
to his business as usual, in the short space of four days,
to the astonishment of ull who witnessed the accident.
