Compound Fluid Ex-irnct of Couyzn nnd
Styltingia.
T HIS preparation is a Concentrated Extractj con
taining all the Active Medical Properties of the
Conyza, (commonly known ns Bluck Root,) and the
Stvllingia, or Queen's Delight.
These plants have been long used among our South
cm Negroes, and recently by the Medical Profession,
ith the happiest results, in cases of Chronic Rhcu-
natigm, Ulcers of long standing, and Secondary
Syphilis. It is much superior to any preparation ot
Sarsaparilla as an alterative, being more active and
prompt in its operation on the system. These facts
have induced the subscribers to present to the atten
tion of Physicians a fluid extract prepared strictly ac
cording to Chemical and Parmaceuticul science, de
void of all the feculent and inert parts of the roots,
not doubting that it will supersede the unscien titic and
crude preparations hitherto used.
Price—$1 per bottle, or six bottles for 65.

The Bailway Register adds : “ We have heard it sta

Liverwort.
This plant has for many years been found to be of
singular virtue in the cure «.f affections of the Liver.
More recently it was ascertained that it possessed
great power in arresting bleeding at the lungs, coughs
of a chfonic character, etc., and of essentinl service in
all diseases of a pulmonary character.

the most healing and efficient application for diseased

preservative qualities were understood by the Egyp

exists among scieutiflb men, that the preparation used
in the embalmment of bodies, was composed princi-

Proprietor most respectfully returns las
thanks to his friends and the travelling public,
for the unparalleled patronage received by him du-

has been lavished upon him lor the lust eight months.
And he is enabled to do this from the lact that the
FLOYD HOUSE is the most eligible house in the
place of its location, or, in fact, ever can be. It has more
front than all of the houses of the kind in Macon put

meet the wisheB of the public, and to share them
with others.—Tea Nuts gathered in tiie neighborhood
of Canton are scarcely worth cultivating, on account
of the inferior quality of the Tea. It is obviously tho
interest of the planter to submit to an increased ex
pense, to secure a superior quality of Tea Nut, in es
tablishing a Tea Plantation, whether large or smalL
In prosecuting this arduous undertaking, I am in’
fact acting ns ap agent for the benefit of tho public.
Neither the 8tate, the public, cr any individual, has
ever extended to me the aid of a single cent.
For convenience and security, the Nuts will be
packed in tin boxes, and forwarded from Greenville,

purchaser may direct, to any part of the U. States.
TEA PLANTS—now on thpir passage from China,
selected with a single eye to quality, by a gentleman
of large experience in horticultural pursuits, and p r-
hsps Getter acquainted with the character of the Tea
Plant, than any person in Europe or America—will'
also lie shared with those desirous of obtaining a
small supply.
A specification of the soil bestadnpted to the growth
of the plant, the mode of planting, cultivating, &c.
Sic., will accompany eacli parcel.
